Dr. Janet Tanzi, DDS

Dr. Tanzi performed a root canal on me a few years ago. She left 3 broken files in my tooth and never bothered to tell me. Started having problems and my new dentist took an X-ray and discovered the three pieces of broken tool. Now I have to have an implant at the cost of $4000.00. Stay away from her.

Amazing Dr. So knowledge and professional. Very calming and reassuring to patients. Beautiful facility. All staff excellent!

Extremely happy with her bedside manner. She explained everything that was to happen and was very cautious not to cause any pain or discomfort. No wait and staff was very accommodating.

Had a problem for which my regular dentist wasn't able to determine the cause. Visited Dr. Tanzi based on word of mouth as someone I knew had a similar problem. She was able to resolve the problem. Experienced no pain nor problems with the root canal. My only complaint was in the report she sent to my regular dentist. She reported on what she did but did not mention the actual problem being resolved (basically just wrote "did root canal on patient" or something similar.

It’s clear to me that Dr. Tanzi has a great deal of skill and commitment to what she does. I felt like she listened to my concerns, and that she and her team went out of their way to help me feel comfortable and relaxed. The second time I had to be seen by Dr. Tanzi I had been in tremendous pain for several days and she got me in right away, diagnosed the issue and took care of me immediately. I can tell that Janet Tanzi is passionate about what she does and cares deeply about helping her patients. I would most definitely recommend her and her team!

Dr. Tanzi has treated me with information, calmness and kindness during a difficult and emergent root canal. As I developed an unrelated situation some months later, she again saw me after a long day, finding a further solution with a great oral surgeon,and waving an offered payment for her extra time. Top notch staff included. Have many acquaintances who also praise her excellence!

My experience with Dr. Tanzi was horrible. I needed two root canals. My appt was at 4pm. Dr. Tanzi started drilling But halfway Dr. Tansi said oh I'm going to need more time. So when you come back for the second root canal I will finish up with this one. I could not believe what I was hearing. The Assistant cemented my tooth and I went home with a half of a root canal done. I was never so upset.

Since when do you have to rob a bank to pay for a root canal? Dr. Tanzi is good but come on. $1450 for a root canal. I am not just picking on her. The whole dental/healthcare system is an out of control disaster.

I was clearly overdosed with the local anesthesia or it was shot into a vein not tissue, within minutes I started to have a reaction to the drugs and before she even started to drill for more than a second I could not stop hyperventilating and sobbing so she stopped. I've had several other surgeries with other Doctors including Dr. Fertik, and nothing like this has ever happened. She said it was a panic attack but the injection site is very painful and hot the day after. Will never return!
