Dr. Jason Hyde, DDS

Dr. Hyde is a very upbeat guy. He explains your choices of fixing your tooth and then gives details on your selection. Since he is so friendly you feel like youve known him for a long time. My root canal procedure went well and I was kept comfortable. Waking up this morning I had no discomfort. Dr. Hyde and his attendant Lizzy make a wonderful team.

Seriously needs to find a new profession. He was quite late for a scheduled appointment and then hit a vessel while administering numbing medication that left me with swelling, bruising, and jaw pain for weeks afterward. He also spent so much time socializing around the office that the numbing wore off before the root canal was finished and I could feel him digging in my tooth. He allowed for constant, non-business-related interruptions from staff that dragged out the process even longer. He also failed to pay appropriate attention so that he nearly drilled into my mouth and also came dangerously close to jamming a sharp dental instrument into my eye while replacing the dental dam he tore through. He and his assistant failed to take appropriate precautions when they knew the tooth was cracked, and so sent a fair amount of bleach into the other side of my mouth and burning down my throat. Front office staff just blew me off when I called later with concerns about irritation in my mouth and throat from the bleach. THE worst dental experience of my entire life and I wouldn't recommend Dr. Hyde to anyone if he were last endodontist on earth.

This was my first experience being on the receiving end of a root canal. Despite being a dental assistant many years ago, I was terrified. I am relieved to say none of my worst fears were realized. It was all anticipation. Dr. Hyde and his team were compassionate, gentle, and made me comfortable. I didn’t feel a thing. Afterwards, I took one over the counter pain killer in anticipation of some residual discomfort, but basically had none. They turned a stressful situation into a comfortable experience and I’m very grateful.

Horrible doctor. Told my daughter he would rip her tooth out if she kept moving and then refused to let her use the restroom she was so scared she peed her pants. She has never been scared enough to pee her pants. I was in the room and the stuff he said to a child would never fly. Protect your self and choose a better dentist I sure will. I'm a dental assistant and our office will never again refer patients here again. I'm discusted this is not the 80s any more. Please catch up and help make a change for the better. My child will most liky have to be sedated for her next procedures.
