10 out of 10 do not recommend. I was very confused about some of the things he was telling me in my appointment and he took that as me being “perturbed” (his words hahah) and ended the appointment in an extremely weird and unprofessional way. He should really be careful speaking to women in such a condescending, rude tone as a man in power. I felt soooo uncomfortable the whole time.

Do not use a narcissist as he is
Told his assistant that those who choose their own demise will certainly go down under. Her dad did that.

I was referred to Dr. Jason Read, owner of Elevated Endodontics, for an evaluation. The evaluation revealed I needed two root canals. Now, when you think of a root canal, you may think of pain, discomfort, and the fact that the world will end, further from the truth. Dr. Read will make sure that you are taken care of. His professional, easy, and comfortable chairside manner lets you know you made the right choice. He thoroughly explained the need for the procedure, even though I was not experiencing any pain or discomfort. The procedure went well, with no pain. Really! It felt like I was having my usual routine dental cleaning. I ended up having a third root canal due to trying to save a tooth with an old cracked filling. The standard of care did not deviate. A standing ovation to his great team-Lexis, Selena, Gizelle, and a few names I know I am forgetting. The team makes you feel welcome and glad that you are there. I recommend Dr. Read wholeheartedly for your endodontic needs.

…so confused!
I am a professional stage actor….and (if I do say so myself)…a wordsmith of sorts. I am frequently a writer and communicator in many different contexts. I have never been as confused and befuddled by a doctor’s visit as I was with Dr. Read. MANY x-rays of my teeth were taken. Dr. Read blew in and presented me with a barrage of dire situations and possible “remedy” scenarios…that did not involve treatment by him. He sent me back to my dentist, who sent me to HIM in the first place. I left that office $357 poorer, very frightened and unable to secure an appointment with my dentist before I leave town on vacation for 3 weeks… …thorough, I guess…but confusing and unresolved….all for $357….

Dr Read and his staff are top notch! I am no stranger to the dentist or Endodontist (unfortunately for me) so I speak from experience. Dr Read made the whole experience easy and comfortable. His office is high tech, clean and has some of the nicest staff I have ever encountered—everyone I was in contact with was great and so nice. Dr Read was very attentive, easy to talk to and he explained the diagnosis in detail which put me at ease. The best! Highly recommend!

Dr. Read is AWESOME! Having a root canal is probably not on your bucket list, but if you have to have one, Dr. Read is definitely the guy you want to see. He is friendly, patient, thorough, honest & excellent in his field of expertise.... Great staff too. Even if you do not live in the Northfield/Stapleton area he is worth the drive!
