Horrible periodontist! What ever you do, save yourself your time. Jay Bloom is very rude and he insulted my insurance plan. I went to see him back in 2019 for a procedure that unfortunately my insurance did not cover and he asked me when I was going to get real insurance. This is the most money hungry and arrogant health care provider I have ever encountered. I started going to a new dentist and they recommended Jay Bloom for the procedure that I needed. Without realizing this was the same periodontist I saw back in 2019, I confirmed the appointment. As soon as I got in his chair, Jay Bloom treated me with such disrespect. He said very sarcastically, "well why didn't she see me three years ago?" ...A lot changes in three years, but either way it was uncalled for. I had a consultation set up, so at the very least, he should have gave me that; but instead he insulted me the whole time. He did not tell me anything regarding the procedure but instead told me to go to the school in Rutgers.
