Dr. Jay Ross, DDS

I was in Ventura at a meeting and broke a tooth. I didn't know any dentists here and saw who my dental insurance would cover (Delta Dental). Dr. Ross' office staff was pleasant, understanding, and made the appointment for the next day - and promised they would call me if anything came up sooner. At time of the appointment - no waiting - I was ushered in, had an x-ray and saw Dr. Ross promptly. He explained the problem, the potential solutions, and what he would do if I lived in town. He also explained other ways my tooth could be fixed - crown versus inlay - but outlined why he preferred an inlay. Even though he wasn't going to treat me, he took the time to show me some pictures on his computer monitor what it would look like. Dr. Ross was pleasant and professional. The office itself is recently opened, modern, and welcoming. Front office person (Nancy) was warm and friendly. Certainly, if I lived in Ventura, he would be my dentist.

BEST dentist in Ventura County and once you start going to him you're going to regret not doing it sooner!! He is kind, knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. His office is clean, stocked with the best up-to-date equipment, and has the greatest staff. My mom and grandma, who are really picky about their doctors, love him too, because you can't compete with his genuine concern for the best interests of his patients

Dr. Ross is the BOSS! He is an incredibly knowledgeable and up to date dentist. I was impressed with his ability to be completely professional and relatable at the same time. Dr. Ross is the first Dentist I've ever been to who actually took the time to explain everything to me, and in terms I actually understood! His office is very clean and inviting. I didn't even feel that last minute need to "jump out of the window before the dentist walks in." I highly recommend Dr. Ross and his staff!
