Dr. Jean Gong, DMD

Dr. Gong rushes through the banding and doesn't explain anything. Schedules my next appointment two and a half months afterward. Cannot handle emergencies because she works one Tuesday every month. The office staff has no clue what they're doing and cannot answer even basic questions. I tried to leave this office for over two months but no one knew how to annul my contract and continuously billed me falsely so many times that I had to regularly contact my insurance to deny claims. I also had my debit card cancelled. This doctor and office is a circus of scam artists. Do not go here for anything; you will regret it. The wait time is also ridiculous. You'll have to wait at least two weeks to schedule appointments with a general dentist (it took me four months to get an appointment for my banding date). They told my insurance rep (who was calling about their false claims, by the way) that I was a liar and they didn't know who I was. Turnover rate is frankly amazing.

After seeing Dr. Gong, I decided to take my daughter for a send opinion before deciding to fork over thousands of dollars and dedicating 2 yrs of her life to the braces process. Received 2nd opinion and made appointment to go-in for initial service with Dr. Gong before ultimately getting the big Rejection that she will NOT be taking our case. Why?? Because.. we decided to ultimately get a 2nd opinion!! She did Not call to let me know I didn’t need to commute an hour to the office!! Nor did she tell me upon arrival to the office.. she had Us waited for close to 2 hrs!!! before asking another lady to inform me!!!! She ultimately spoke to me in person (after I demanded) with the stupidest excuses..1. Questioning her professionalism by getting a 2nd opinion and 2. My questions on how she was going to do the process stressed her out. We would’ve been less pissed/disappointed if she had the decency to call and told us not to bother to come in. Not professional! Don’t waste your time and $$$
