Dr. Jennifer Wachs, DDS

Office and staff are great. What is not great is the fact that they have personal conversations while working in your mouth. We don't need to hear it and would prefer full concentration on what you are doing. It's very annoying.

It was my first visit. I thought I got scheduled to see Dr. Jen Wachs, but I ended up being seen by someone who is not on the website of Family Dentistry of Yorktown. She said she had been with this practice as a dentist for over three years, but the website had not been updated. She was very nice trying to ease some of my concerns and did a good job explaining things to me as a new patient. The Office Manager, however, seemed to be someone who put the business interest ahead of that of the patient. Also the pre-registration I did on my phone had a few fields I had to fill out over and over again while going through different forms. Then when I showed up, I was asked to check things off again that I had already done the day before through extensive pre-registration including unnecessary repeat steps. I'm giving 2 stars for the good work the unknown dentist did and for the nice staff member who received me at the front desk, took me into a room and did the x-ray.

During the covid 19 pandemic my husband developed a gum issue, did some home remedy to subside pain, but needed to be seen by a dentist. Last week they started to see patients who required emergency treatment. And, we are so happy that they were able to see him, and treated him. Dr Wachs office staff very efficient, friendly, and helpful. Hygienist do a great job with cleaning teeth.

I brought my daughter in for a check up and found out she had a small cavity. Jen and the staff did an amazing job calming my 4 year old daughter and quickly fixed her tooth. I was very nervous about how my daughter would do, but due to the supportive staff she complained less than I would!

Been using the services here for years with my family. Been receiving the best care. Will recommend to any new prospective patients looking for a new dentist.

To be honest, my family of four is crazy. My two boys do not sit still and are usually very defiant to their doctors. But, with Dr,Wachs it was a different story. Her and her assistants dealt with my boys, like they were their own. They clearly explained everything to my kids, which kept my boys from fighting. Plus, Dr.Wachs cleaned my kids teeth to perfection. The only negative I can think of, is that Dr.Wachs' office was very busy with patients.Overall my family's experience was amazing.
