I met with Dr. Bowen one time for an orthodontic consult. Dr Bowen was judgmental and unprofessional. Upon inspecting my orthodontic issues, Dr. Bowen made a noise and gesture indicating her disgust and alarming surprise. She proceeded to tell me that I should have gotten orthodontic work as a child. I felt that Dr. Bowen's bedside manner lacked empathy and professionalism. I would urge anyone who has a degree of self consciousness regarding their teeth to not utilize Dr. Bowen. She will likely leave you feeling worse than when you arrived. Dr. Bowen did provide some logical feedback regarding potential corrective actions, however, my distaste for the way she treated me outweighed my respect for her professional opinion.

I would, and have, recommended Dr. Bowen to friends looking for an orthodontist. She's very knowledgeable and thorough during the initial exam and when explaining the recommended treatment plan. Routine appointments are typically quick and run on-time. Any patient (or parent) questions or concerns are addressed immediately during the appointment. The office staff is also friendly, helpful, and efficient. I've trusted all 3 of my children's orthodontic care to Dr. Bowen!
