Jill Shumate shouldn't have a license to work on teeth. I have a 14 yr old grandson that have to have 3 root canals and has so much crowding in this mouth has to have surgeries to get it all fixed. He has to have braces and partial plates. It is ridiculous that this happens. You think she would care for her patients and give the best care.

She is definitely the worst dentist in the area! Please don’t go to her! Horrible experience, I actually got very sick...it was bad!! I’m getting billed for a service I never received. Please just don’t go here.

Let me first start off by saying that Dr. Shumate and her staff are very friendly. The office environment is clean. The office is easy to find and parking is acceptable. I appreciate that the office staff takes care of billing and obtaining prior authorizations for procedures as I know this is a courtesy to patients. Unfortunately the bonding I had done early this year lasted 2 months at best. I had to take a vacation day for this. The filling I had done a few weeks ago on a Wednesday fell out on Friday. I called and they did get me in that day (Friday) at 12 to put it back in. On Saturday it fell out again. The bonding my daughter had done mid- December has already popped off. Needless to say we won't be going back. This is unfortunate as I really like Dr. Shumate and I strive to support doctors that return to their hometown to practice. Now, as far as x-rays and basic cleaning go, I have no complaints.

Worst dentist you could go to wont even pull a tooth charged me 168.00 and didnt even fill the tooth referred me to someone else.
