Dr. Joanne Rief, DDS

First thing I noticed was how condescending and rude she was to the techs obviously trying to learn. It made the environment so uncomfortable. When I came in, I had quite a lot of work done. She had told me that if I had tooth sensitivity in a few weeks then I should return. I waited 2 months before returning because I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time but my teeth hurt so badly. During my appointment, she told me that what I was feeling wasn’t possible and that I was essentially making it up. It’s now several months later and I’m still in pain but refuse to return there. It was such a negative and uncomfortable environment. I understand pride in being good at your profession but this was totally different.

I have visited this office for over a year and have never had an issue with any staff until today. I received a call from Dr. Rief to reschedule my upcoming appointment. She constantly interrupted me, confirmed my appointment and abruptly hung up. I called the office to speak to her about the unprofessional experience I encountered and she claimed that there was no issue and that it must have been me. As I continued to explain further that I was on the receiving end of her behavior, she replied “well what do you want me to do about it”. At that point in the conversation I requested to be returned to the receptionist where I asked for a release. No one should be treated that way by any provider. I am now looking for a new dental office and feel for the staff that has to work alongside such a deplorable person.

My experience with Dr. Reif and her practice was top notch! I lived an hour away but always happy to go to this practice. From the office receptionist Danielle to Dr. Reif herself. I was there on 11/05/18 and had a little encounter with my hygienist, I mentioned it to them and they apologized. I got a dunkin donut gift card for that and they put on my chart to see another hygenist when next I or my husband visit with them. Thank you Dr. Reif and Danielle.

Nicole is a fantastic dental hygienist!!! She is through yet gentle and makes sure you are comfortable to whole time. Great job!

No recommendations. I was extremely impressed with how everything went.

I'm always a little on edge about going to the dentist....but once I'm there the staff is so pleasant and kind I feel great!

I have never had Linda work with me before. I do not want her again. She was using a small brush and hurt me as she pushed it into my gum. That caused something to fall into my throat and cause me to choke. Later, she was using the tool to clean my teeth and when she pulled it out she caught the inside of my lip. Please, never again. I want my previous person back.
