Dr. John McGaughey, DDS

Suppose to be MediDental ( Medical ) that pays for crowns etc. Demanded $1000.00 upfront, against all MediDental procedures. Called them and they were pretty angry. Avoid !

I called starting 3 weeks ago, simply asking to get on the schedule to get my teeth cleaned. They called me back asking for my insurance information including my SS #. She assured me they would call back to confirm that they took my insurance. It's been two weeks, so I called again and it was a new person. They said they saw a note about me, but did not know what the deal was, and that they would call me back. I never got a callback. This is all pretty alarming when it took me less than 5 min to get my insurance confirmed without my SS # and get on the schedule with another dentist in town. I can not say anything about the dentist, but the service there is concerning.

He is rude and demeaning. If you are looking for a kind and caring professional, do not go here.

Seems to think that asking questions is personally insulting and is overall incredibly rude. I'm not sure why he has such a chip on his shoulder, but it makes for a very uncomfortable visit. AVOID.

he is very very rude i will never recomend him to anyone he is very sarcastic when he talks to you you cant ask him a question he gets smart with his answers didnt feel welcome at all never go back

He’s been my dentist for 30 years always makes you comfortable and calm, has kept my teeth healthy and clean.

Consideration of patients needs financial and medical. Staff is excellent. My Grandson loves to go to the dentist! I would highly recommend Dr. McGaughey.

Worst dentist in the siskiyou county area. Messed up my teeth when I was little and now I'm paying the price. i wouldn't recommend this dentist even if it's an emergency.
