Dr. John Stanley, MD

I scheduled a consult with Dr. Stanley and had about a 6 hour drive to get there. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was running about 15 minutes behind and called his office an hour prior to my appointment, to inform them I would be 15 minutes late. They informed me they were not able to accommodate me showing up 15 minutes late after driving 6 hours to get there and would need to reschedule. I was literally speechless when I heard this. I have worked in many variations of medical field including registrar and could not imagine refusing to accommodate a 15 minute time difference for a patient who traveled this far!! I understand a doctors time is valuable, but to waste 12 hours of my day, taking time of work etc for 15 minutes is insane and huge red flag! I honestly probably dodged a bullet in dealing with this clinic/doctor, because obviously I won't be rescheduling, but still so frustrating!

My son had double jaw correction surgery and Dr Stanley did an excellent job from start to finish, he was very thorough and a stickler for details. He made sure my son had the best outcome possible and did the surgery at the right time when he thought it would be the best outcome. It’s been a year since surgery and my son couldn’t be happier! Thank you to all the staff and Dr Stanley’s team!!

I’ve been a patient of his several times and I must say that he is wonderful!!

This was a terrible experience. He would not admit that my son had an infection a couple of weeks after the procedure. He hooked the wires from his braces on and they were digging into his gums. Something happened during the procedure that hurt my son's back and we ended up going to several PT and Chiropractor appointments to get that feeling better. When I complained about all the issues he said well we can start over and insert an artificial tooth.
