Dr. Jose Arauz, DMD

At the beginning I was nervous about the procedure. The office staff were very nice and made the paperwork easy. Dr Arauz went over the procedure, answering all my questions and really making me feel comfortable. He kept me informed of what he was doing during the procedure so I felt more relaxed than I've ever been in a dentist chair. I'm very happy and it was a positive experience. Definitely rates FIVE STARS!

My appointment was on December 17, 2024. I was scheduled for an invasive dental procedure (IDT). Dr. Arauz and his friendly and supportive staff, led in this case by Lulu, provided a clean, calm and comfortable environment for the surgery. The team is easy to talk to and they educated me about my treatment. I was given post-surgery instructions, and I followed them as directed. The surgery went well. I had given Dr. Arauz prior approval to use my case for training purposes. ' True to form', in a very professional manner, Dr. Arauz turned my case into a teachable moment with members of his staff. I was provided a personalized treatment plan, and the staff emphasize preventive care. My post-surgery appointment was January 8, 2025. 'Wow, this looks great' was the first thing that Dr. Arauz said when he started and completed the examination, and I agreed 100%. I was pleased to report very little pain and little to no bleeding throughout post-surgery. Thanks!!

The wait times between assistant visits and doctors visits were too long. The doctor was extremely helpful and explained everything extremely well. The staff seemed to be easy to work with, only time will tell. Doctor Arauz is one of only a few, less than 5, to have cutting edge equipment in NC. I was overall impressed, only future visits will tell with the staff. For now, they were very nice, but visits between were too long. The facility was very clean.

Been my periodontist for years. A great periodontist with a great staff. The best in my opinion.

I have had many visits with Dr. Arauz during the past year and nine months. I had peri-implantitis and I chose Dr. Arauz to remove my infected dental implant and to put in a new dental implant. During my first visit with Dr. Arauz, he answered all my questions about my treatment options. Dr. Arauz was very patient and spent over an hour of his time to share information with me and my husband and to answer all our questions. I appreciated this conversation with Dr. Arauz because I was able to make an informed decision as to how to fix an unpleasant problem. After many visits to Dr. Arauz for each procedure (which included two bone grafts and a gum graft), and check-ups to make sure I was healing well, I finally have my new "tooth" crown. I would definitely recommend Dr. Arauz to my family and friends.

Do not use. Although very nice, they did not warn me that I might have major swelling and bruising post surgery. I looked like a boxer had punched my face with significant swelling, black eye and very dark bruising covering a quarter of my face that no amount of make-up could cover up. The worst part of my experience is that they charged my $1,013.94 over the original estimate.

Dr. Arauz is a good doctor but his insurance office staff leave a lot to be desired. If you get a contract for work, make sure you contact your insurance and make sure the procedure is covered or you will be left with a huge bill.

There are not enough good things to say about Dr. Arauz and his entire staff. I have had cleanings and oral surgery there, with exceptional results. Dr. Arauz, at each visit, took time to explain the procedure and patiently answered my many questions and eased my anxiety. His manner is calm, kind, and professional. Everything went without a hitch and exactly as he had explained. His hygienist, Jessica, is absolutely amazing! She took extra time, not only to ensure my comfort level and under

Caring and concerned about my oral health. Always honest and compassionate with his patients. Truly cares!

I have been using Dr Arauz for a few years now. I find that he genuinely cares for his patients . He does not try to patronize or down play my concerns. He is open, honest, and patient . Which in a dentist is VERY important to me. I appreciate everything he does.

Dr. Arauz is perhaps the best Dentist I have ever been seen by. His moral and ethical background, allow him to use his uncanny ability to do what is in your best interest in the field of oral medicine. He goes above and beyond his medical duties, to present himself as a caring and compassionate doctor, with your overall health at the top of his concern. His staff is outstanding and easy to work with. From the moment you arrive, to the moment you leave, you are treated as royalty.

i don't really enjoy the dentist.....let alone a periodontist. But I have to say if you need treatment, Dr. Arauz is the dentist to see. He is a extremely caring and gentle. And to me, most importantly, he cares about the whole person and treatment, not just his specialty area. My only wish is that the office would bill medical insurance in addition to dental.

He is a wonderful doctor. Very kind and made me feel comfortable.

I have serve anxiety and typically can not go to any doctor appointment alone. However, I feel so comfortable at Dr. Arauz's office it's the only office I can go alone. Dr. Arauz and his staff are amazing!
