Dr. Joseph Vu, DMD

This practice constantly changes or cancels appts. Today I showed up with my appt card and they didn't have me down for appt. So unprofessional, and disrespectful of people's time.

After my dentist retired I looked for a Dentist near our home because we are elderly 93 & 88 I usually check reviews but in this case failed to do so. To make a long story short, I was do for a checkup & cleaning. After taking numerous X Rays Dr Vu did an exam and indicated I had 3 small cavities. He checked my 4 tooth bridge and told me it appeared to be in good condition. He than had a woman come in to what I though was for the cleaning. Instead she told me I would need a deep cleaning and could send me to a specialist and the cost would be between $1000.00 and $1500. I told her I didn't want to do that because I was 93 and being treated at Mofftt Cancer and didn't have that time remaining. She told me that unless I had it done they would not accept me as a patient. As I was checking out another girl talked to me and said they could do the deep cleaning there for $500.00 so I agreed . Since that I have lost one crown and my Bridge & spent $3500.00. with no repairs.

Not a working dentist, Works for referrals, sends you to someelse to fix problem.

I am now dealing with having all the crowns they installed removed for one reason or another.IMHO he allows his staff to do too much of the work that he should be doing.

Fell off a ladder putting up holiday lights and popped out a front tooth.  Dr. Vu was able to fit me into his busy schedule the same day.  His staff took an xray, contacted an endodontist, a periodontist, and a gum specialist immediately.  Dr. Vu ended up popping the tooth right back in.  They took another xray to make sure it fits, and I was out in 2 hours.  Dr Vu and his staff were super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and bent over backwards to accomodate me.  What an amazing place!!!
