Dr. Kacey Whitehead, DDS

My experience at Carus Kingwood with Dr. Whitehead was the worst dental experience I have had in my life. I have many complaints, but my the biggest is that I went in complaining of pain and her treatment plan (a root canal and new crown, which I did), did not change anything about my pain. It took weeks for her to finish her portion of the treatment. She did not explain very well all that was involved, including that it would take four different visits to her office to complete everything. For certain visits it took weeks for them to fit me in. Also, the replacement crown she used on me is poorly shaped, not properly sealed, and the angle of its position causes me to bite my tongue hard enough to cause serious bleeding. I tried twice to get another appointment to see if she would help with that, and both times her staff said their computers were down and they could not schedule me for an appointment. They never called back. Some of the staff are very rude. Reader Beware!

I've been a patient of Dr. Whitehead's for a few years now. After my first appointment with her and interacting with Carus staff, for the first time in my 44yrs of life, I'm not 'scared' of the dentist. They're that good.

I'm 72 years and have been treated by many different dentists and their staffs in at 4 states and 12 different cities since age 17. Presently, and the past 5 years, Dr.Whitehead and total staff are the best for on-time appointments, quality of procedures, followup and emergency treatment, Excellent protection for COVID-19.
