Dr. Katherman truly cares about her patients! She sat down with my husband and I and really took her time to explain our daughter's treatment plan. She wanted to make sure we were comfortable and all our questions were answered. It was so refreshing to be with a provider who not only says the right things but also shows it through her actions.

As a mother with a newborn during my visits I never felt rushed. Both Dr K and her staff were highly educational and took the time to be sure I understood every step and the reason WHY. They followed up multiple times to be sure we were ok. There was no judgement when I struggled with stretches. They are just amazing. I had my older son’s tongue tie “snipped” by an ENT. And that was scary for me and him. So happy we found Dr K.

Our daughter had a lip and tongue tie that was affecting her latching when breastfeeding. I had my tongue cut when I was 9 years old and it was very traumatic so when her pediatrician recommended Dr. Katherman to cut her ties, I was very nervous. When I called Dr. Katherman’s office the receptionist scheduled us in 2 days and at the consult they asked if we wanted to do the procedure right then and there. My husband and I couldn’t believe how quick and efficient the entire process went. The staff was so friendly and helpful and Dr. Katherman was fantastic! Our daughter was back in my arms within 4 mins of them taking her back to the procedure room and she was latching correctly!! Dr. Katherman gave us her cell phone number if we needed anything and called and checked on our daughter that evening. We are thrilled that Dr. Katherman will be our daughter’s dentist when the time comes. The office staff and Dr. Katherman are by far the best!

We worked closely with Dr Katherman. She was amazing along with all the staff there. They were quick to get our baby an appointment and even called after hours on a holiday to check in on him. Everyone was very knowledgeable and shared many helpful tips.

This was a great experience and I felt cared for during a stressful time trying to figure out what to do for my newborn. I recommend this place to anyone I know in need of a lip tie procedure.

Dr. Katherman and her team were incredibly helpful in releasing our son Asher's lip and tongue ties! Asher was quickly losing weight and was not able to transfer milk well with breastfeeding. We had to triple feed to increase his weight and keep him full, which was a difficult process for us, especially as new parents. Navigating this process was straightforward working with Dr. Katherman. She and her team helped me stay at ease, were compassionate, and I trusted them with my newborn. The best part was hearing them sing to Asher as they released the ties. She also checked up on us and offered her contact information to reach out at any time. Immediately after the release, I noticed a difference in Asher's feeding. He latched more easily and was able to transfer milk more effectively. Dr. Katherman's team explained the entire process very well and how to help the recovery process (which is difficult but completely worth it). I highly recommend Dr. Katherman and her team!

I brought my infant son to Dr. Katherman to have a tongue and lip tie released, and my experience was top notch! Dr. Katherman and all the staff that we saw throughout our visits were nothing but knowledgeable, so kind and helpful while also being very thorough and professional. I drove a ways to come here for the procedure, but I can confidently say it was well worth it! The follow up was amazing as well, and I know I can reach out with any questions or concerns in the future. Highly recommend Dr. Katherman.

We took our son to see Dr. Katherman at only 3 weeks old. He had a severe upper lip and tongue tie that was causing issues with eating. Dr. Katherman and her assistance were patient and took their time assessing our newborn, so as to not cause him any discomfort. They explained the procedure, aftercare, and any other information pertaining to the tie revision process carefully and in depth. We had plenty of time to ask question, go over the material again if needed, and to discuss between ourselves if we wanted to follow through with the procedure. We ultimately did get the revisions done and the procedure was very quick and accurate. We went back to see Dr. Katherman and her assistance about a month after the procedure to make sure everything had healed. The second visit was just as good if not better than the first visit. We will be continuing to see Dr. Katherman for all of our sons dental needs in the future!

If your child has a tie- go here! I went to a plastic surgeon with my first and not only did it cost double, the knowledge and care we received was terrible. Dr K and her whole staff is amazing! Dr. Katherman put our minds at ease as we took our first baby girl to get this procedure. They explained everything in detail and allowed us to ask any questions we wanted. They also gave us preventative measures after the producer was done! Dr. Katherman and her assistant Patty were so amazing and we would take any of our children there in the future!

My baby had trouble latching when breastfeeding due to a tongue tie and lip tie. Dr. Katherman was so helpful when we took my 3 week old newborn in for a consult. She explained everything very thoroughly to us for my daughter’s release procedures and post treatment care. Everyone in the office treated as equals capable of understanding the information provided rather than being pretentious like some dental or medical professionals can be. Dr. K seemed personally invested in our baby's care and treatment - she offered to answer calls from us on her personal phone after hours, she checked in on us often after the procedure, and she provided a mommy and baby friendly office space for nursing and changing my baby. She also coached me through engorgement issues, choosing nipples for bottles, and gum brushing. My baby started breastfeeding 1 week after her procedure and has healed great! She has been exclusively breastfeeding since week 4 is now 3 months old and thriving. Highly recommend!

Dr. Katherman released my son’s tongue and lip ties with a laser two years ago today. My son was born prematurely at 29 weeks and had a whole slew of medical issues. Feeding was a major issue. When he got out of the NICU we still struggled with bottle feeding. We figured out that he might have ties that impacted feeding and reached out to Dr. Katherman’s office. They scheduled us in a timely manner and were excellent! During the first part of the appointment we sat in a room where Dr. Katherman and her staff walked us through the procedure. After answering all of my questions and explaining aftercare, they took my son back and did the procedure. It was done so quickly and precisely. After you leave, Dr. Katherman calls to check in to see how everything is going. She really made this process so smooth. I 100% recommend taking your babies to her like we did. It was worth traveling the distance for us! My son’s feeding issues with the bottle significantly decreased after the procedure.

Dr. Katherman and her staff did a fantastic job with our sons tongue and lip tie. They were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. They put our minds at ease and answered every question we had. They took the time to call us personally to answer questions. They also called after his procedure as well to see how he was doing. We also see Dr. Katherman as our dentist and she shines just as much there as well. Highly recommend Dr. Katherman!

We brought our daughter in for lip and tongue ties. Dr. Katherman and her staff were amazing with her! Very thorough and knowledgeable staff. We are very happy with our experience.

Our son had a missed lip and tongue tie and when he was about 6 weeks old we went to Dr. Katherman and she saw his oral ties immediately during our consult. She let us think about our next steps and answered every single question we had under the sun. She even consulted our pediatrician for advice as our son has a possible genetic condition that could delay healing. About a week or two later we had his laser revision and they were so calm and kind and compassionate towards very anxious parents. Afterwards, they stayed in the room with us, watched a feeding, answered more of our questions, and prepared us for the next week. She even gave us her personal phone number and called us that night to check in!!! A week later we saw her and she told us to keep up the good work on exercises (this is super important) and a month later we had final follow-up and we were told we were good to go! If you're on the fence, get off the fence and go to Dr. Katherman!!!!

Dr. Katherman gets it. She’s understanding and thorough when it comes to explaining the procedures and healing process. I highly recommend her to everyone I know that has a baby with oral ties. Would go to her again and again. I love how she follows up with patients at a week and a month post revision. Amazing.

Dr. Katherman and her staff were excellent to work with! Mu son had a lip and tongue tie that prevented him from latching well, causing poor weight gain, fussiness, and terrible gas pains. Dr. Katherman and her staff were kind, informative, and supportive. Dr. Katherman even called us personally to check in after my son's procedure, and we have seen huge improvements since the correction. Our baby had a tongue and lip tie that prevented him from latching and eating effectively and his weight gain was slow. Our lactation consultant recommended Dr. Katherman and she and the staff did a wonderful job. It took some time, but eventually our baby was able to latch and eat, and his weight gain came quickly after. We appreciate them so much!

I highly recommend Dr. Katherman when it comes to tongue and lip ties. She was able to get us an appt within a few days of me calling. She thoroughly explained everything which eased our nerves about the procedure. Her office is welcoming and includes a little room for diaper changing / feeding. She even called us later that day to check in on my son. She taught us the exercises to do so that it didnt reattach along with giving us packets of information. We did a follow up a month later and there had luckily been no reattachment. My son is now able to eat more efficiently and with less spit up.
