Dr Roman hygienist is a cold cold person. They are very arrogant and charge too much

My husband went to Dr. Roman as part of getting three implants. She and her staff made it as “pleasant” as dental work can be… He was really dreading it and still talks about how positive the experience was. I have been undergoing “deep root cleaning” and have found Dr. Roman and her staff extremely professional and caring. I actually looked forward to my visits because I knew I was in good capable hands with the technician. She was really terrific.

I felt uncomfortable when the first form I had to sign was a promise not to sue Dr. Karla Roman that day or anytime in the future. Dr. Karla Roman callously told me that I had severe periodontal disease and bone loss and that I should return to my dentist to have my dentist decide what teeth she wanted to pull out and have them extracted there. After, I should return to her for implants. I left her office in shock because I didn’t think my mouth was in such bad condition. I saw another dentist for a second opinion. That dentist prescribed antibiotics and mouthwash for a gum infection and swelling. He also told me that he did not see one tooth that he would extract and if he had he would have waited until my gum infection had healed. Dr. Karla Roman did not offer me any medicine for my gum infection. She did not even tell me that I had an infection. Thankfully, I found a good dentist somewhere else. My gums are healthier and I still have my teeth. I hope this helps someone else.

Dr. Roman indulged herself in lecturing me about smoking. She refused to examine my gums which were impacted with red licorice that had hardened. She made me pull some out myself to show her, then because it was red licorice, she said it was blood and refused to believe it was licorice. She wanted $300 more dollars to have it analyzed before she would even look in my gums. Her rude, openly hostile bedside manner And know-it-all attitude made me run out of her office in tears. Worst dental visit I have ever had in 60 years.

Visits with Dr. Roman are useless.
