Dr. Kathy Lam, DDS

In my opinion and my experiences with Dr. Lam, I feel she is not just a dentist. Dr. Lam is also an artist and a sculptor, having accomplished what she did with my teeth, as opposed to other dentists being of the opinion that I should have implants. With much tenacity and patience, Dr. Lam SAVED MY TEETH. I am so grateful to have found her. Dr. Lam is a master of her craft.

Was looking for a dentist after mine retired. Dr. Lam was the second one I found and was impressed by her caring, courtesy, experience, professionalism and willingness to keep me informed as to the cost of any work that she would recommend without me having to ask. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

As a senior citizen I appreciate the the attention to detail, patience and kind attitude Dr Lam gave me. She made me feel like I am not just another slot in the appointment calendar, and that she really cares. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Lam has been my dentist for the last year or so. I like her approach to her business. She explains the procedure she is about to perform and why. I like her personal approach to her patients. I would highly recommend her for all your dental needs.

If you're scared of the dentist like I am, Dr. Lam is perfect for you. She takes her time, explains what she's going to do, is so compassionate, and goes out of her way to make you comfortable. It turns out I grind my teeth now and she went above and beyond to get a night guard made for me in the same day so I wouldn't have to sleep one more night without it. She's so patient and caring - the absolute best!!

I am so happy that Dr. Lam took over the existing dental practice that I was going to. She has been very professional and has a great chair-side manner. I have had no issues with cancelled appointments or billing issues. Quite the contrary! I had to have some extensive dental work done due to previous dentist just doing minimal quick fixes and ignoring things that I was having problems with such as chipped molars that needed to be crowned, replacing a crown on a front tooth that was showing decay. Dr. Lam explained what needed to be done and was very patient with me because she could tell how anxious I was. She even stayed late due to issues that came up on some of the corrections she had to make! In my opinion, Dr. Lam and her team are A++++!

I feel very fortunate to have found Dr Lam as my dentist. I find Dr Lam to be quite skilled and knowledgeable. I have recommended her to all of my family and friends, and all have thanked me afterwards. She has a kind manner whether it's with my young children or my older parents, she makes everyone feel comfortable which is no easy task considering the circumstances. You will be pleased taking her into your family as I have into mine.

Dr. Kathy Lam is a lovely individual. She cares a lot about her patients. She did the cleaning on my teeth do a visit because the dental hygienists were booked—she goes above and beyond what other dentists I’ve had in the past do. Her staff are competent, professional, and kind. I highly recommend her as a dentist!

Wonderful! I wish I had seen her years ago. She has a wonderful chair side manner and makes sure all procedures are well explained and that I'm comfortable at all times. I used to be very anxious when seeing the previous dentist who seemed to wait until my teeth had a major problem before saying anything was wrong. Dr. Lam wants to make sure the teeth are properly cared for so that they will last a lifetime! She goes above and beyond to care for her clients. She makes sure to listen and get to know you. I've never felt more comfortable and relaxed while having my teeth worked on and that's saying a lot. She takes extra time with elderly like my 97 year old mother who requires patience and a willingness to just listen to her talk (too much) rather than hurrying her out the door. I really can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it is to have such a sweet, caring dentist that can make you feel like your her only patient!

Dr. Lam is great!!! She is the most passionate and compassionate dentist I have ever met. She is very gentle with you, especially with her elderly patients. I recommend you go to her with any problem you may have. Best dentist ever!!!

Dr. Lam and her office are horrible! I totally agree with the other negative reviewer. My initial appointment was canceled twice and I had a heck of a time rescheduling due to their limited hours. Dr. Lam made me wait 30 minutes for my appointment due to the patient before me being elderly and wanting to chit chat with her. Her response was “In my culture we respect our elders so I could not ask her to leave.” Dr. Lam is rough and does not explain things well before she goes in your mouth and made me feel bad that I needed Novocain for my procedure. She’s the worst dentist I have ever been to and now I’m afraid to go to a new dentist since the experience was so awful! Please do not go to this dentist!

Dr. Lam is extremely unreliable because though she may be a fine dentist, the shop she runs is an absolute mess. Billing is a disaster. Appointments get canceled on you. They won't tell you how long a procedure will take or when it can get done or how much it will cost. Just an absolute mess and I recommend you stay far away or just keep the toothache. Dr. Lam is also very rude and defensive. Find another dentist.

Dr. Lam is the most competant and compassionate dentist I have ever been to. I highly recommend her.
