Dr. Kevin Boyd, DDS

Dr Boyd has my son's best interest at heart. He has worked with us trying several different appliances until we got the right fit. His staff is so patient with my son. Teddy used to hate getting his mouth touched by others and now he sits in the chair and opens wide!

While he may work for some children, we felt like he was over-dramatic and over-prescribed. Also, had awful access, the staff is untrained and they are cramming kids/ families in there. Be weary.

This man is a quack! He will try to tell you your young child is destined for a life of a weak chin and jawline--and shows comically overdone drawings of chinless teens to make the point--unless you sign up for a barbaric mouth contraption that your child will wear in early childhood. We knew he was a quack and never came back. Fast forward ten years, when our daughter turned out to be a beautiful young lady with a perfectly lovely jaw and chin, no intervention required. I just read a NYT article about the quack doctor who started this movement and is roundly rejected in the medical community as a total joke and con-man. Stay far, far away. =

Dr Boyd and his staff are the best by far. His staff is very well trained and amazing with kids. Everything is seamless. After being with a completely awful orthodontist’s office in the west suburbs, I can say with 100% confidence my children are in the best hands now. We drive 2-3 hours round trip every visit to Dentistry for Children and Families and it’s well worth it.

Dr Boyd is an amazing sleep dentist who is treating my daughter for sleep apnea & orthodontia. He sees my son for orthodontia & expanding his sinuses. His knowledge & expertise is cutting edge & highly effective in opening the airway through Orthtropics. He understands the importance of treating sleep apnea & the impact it has on my daughters edu performance, cognition & mood. Dr Boyd, Dr Janet & staff are professional and extremely friendly! I also have OSA know the benefit of treatment.
