Dr. Kin Lui, DMD

I would give no star if it is an option.. Dr. Lui is the WORST dentist we have ever seen. She is not consistent and not professional and keep request services that are not needed, and subsequently got denied by the insurance. No dental assistant, no other staff and she is Ms. do-it-all so she is super impatient. She would drop you off all of a sudden in a call or stop your conversation anytime she wants, and she does not answer questions directly. Her ethical and professionalism is highly in doubt. AVOID this dentist.

This office is not professional. I called for an appointment, but was asked to give SSN after giving the patient information and insurance information. I said SSN is no longer being used. The receptionist said "please find another office" and hung the phone. I called again and not picked up

I've lost track of time, but I'm sure Dr. Lui has been the exclusive dentist for both my wife and me for at least 6 years. One July 4, I fell on the sidewalk while taking a brisk walk for exercise. I phoned her office on the holiday, thinking I'd get her answering machine so I could make an urgent appointment for the next day. Instead, she answered the phone and when I described what happened she said she wanted to come in that same day, July 4. More recently because of my concern about covid (I'm at higher risk at age 90) she has arranged her hours so that I have the first appointment of the day and she even has her receptionist out of the office at that time. She locks the door so that other patients have to wait outside if they come early, so we are the only ones in her office. She has always been careful about germs. Obviously, we give her our highest ratings. 5 stars.

I've been going here for the past few years and I can't recommend it enough. Dr. Lui is a compassionate and sociable dentist who makes sure you're comfortable whenever she's working on your teeth. She's also got a lot of patience and will stop and wait if you feel any pain. I got my wisdom teeth removed by her and it was painless procedure. Also, my retainer needed to be adjusted because I wasn't feeling enough pressure on the teeth in my upper jaw. This was fixed by her free of charge. She also gives out discounts as long as you've been respectful. There's no other dental center that can match the service here

We see Dr. Lui in her office at 2136 Gallows Road #B Dunn Loring, VA 22007. My daughter, son, and I have had many visits with Dr. Lui in the past few years ranging from checkups, fillings and a wisdom tooth extraction. We like Dr. Lui and her assistant, and we trust her work. I brought my 87-year-old mother to her for 2 teeth extractions (serious infection). Dr. Lui was skillful, prepared us thoroughly beforehand with medication, and called to check up on my mom a few times after the procedure. My mom has asked to be Dr. Lui's long-term patient. I am especially impressed with Dr. Lui's competence (fast, gentle, thorough, smooth procedures, clearly highly skillful with her hands), flexibility and friendliness even after a long day. Countless times, she worked with my family to give us appointments late in the day or a Saturday because of my work schedule. I have no doubt that Dr. Lui will do a great job on my upcoming dental implant in 2020. Lanh Nguyen Annandale, Virginia

Dr. Lui was warm and friendly. I have had to get extensive work done on my teeth over the years and she has helped me through these times with ease. I no longer dread going to the dentist as her calm and confident demeanor always puts me at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Lui to anyone.

I’ve always been a terribly nervous patient when it comes to my dental appointments. Throughout the years Dr. Lui and her staff have always been sensitive to my phobia and conservative with my treatments. They are truly caring professionals and I highly recommend them.

Dr. Lui's is an excellent dentist. I do not agree with the latest review about not having an assistant did have any effect on Dr. Lui's attendance to details. I did some tooth fillings and a crown and I do not have any issues so far. Thanks Dr. Lui for your services.

As a healthcare provider myself , I could not ask for a more competant clinician. Dr. Lui's attention to detail is impeccable. I strongly recommend her services.

Dr. Lui is not consistent and often changes her story when she messes up your mouth, then blames the patient. Reminds me of an unscrupulous mechanic. She constantly charges the patient for additional procedures based on her mistakes. Very unorthodox. Asks new patients to recommend family members and coworkers. Lots of other Red Flags. No dental assistant. This dentist should not be practicing. Read and heed the reviews and lack of any positive reviews.
