Painless and Professional
They don’t get better than Dr. Smith. Office staff knowledgable and polite. I have always been very nervous sitting in the dental chair waiting for the novacaine however, Dr. Smith and the dental assistant kept me calm and surprise! I didn’t feel the needle at all. I have had probably every dental prrocedure there is and yet this was pain-free and not stressful at all. Highly recommended.

Great care
Despite being someone that struggles with Dental anxiety, Dr Smith took excellent care of me and helped me to manage my stress over the situation.

Buyer Beware! Dentist being investigated by my insurance company for advising unnecessary dental procedures and potentially fraudulent practices for financial gain. When they initially asked me when my insurance last paid for this procedure or that, I should have seen this as a red flag. Went there for a routine cleaning and check-up as a new patient. Haven't had any issue in 30+ years, always perfect checkups. Was told by Dr. Larysa Smith that I had periodontal gum disease requiring deep cleaning and more frequent dental visits. Also advised that I needed to have two molar fillings replaced because of bacteria decay and expensive crowns put in. Tried to scare me by saying if you don't do these now, they may have to do a costly and painful root canal later. Since my insurance would only cover a small portion, I declined and told them I just want a regular cleaning. They refused to do regular cleaning unless I paid for the more expensive deep cleaning so I went and scheduled cleaning

Prior to my first visit with Dr. Smith, I called to confirm that they accepted my insurance. They ran my member ID # and said they did, however it only covered the basics. By basics, I assumed that meant a cleaning which I am eligible to receive annually. When I walked into the office, I gave them my insurance card and was told that now "the cleaning may not be covered", and the x rays definitely would not be. I told the receptionist to please let me know if the cleaning would be covered before sitting down in the dental chair, and she said she needed to find out from the dentist what exact cleaning I needed and what costs would be covered. I should have walked out from that exact moment, but I was told "not to worry and they'll take care of me". When leaving, I was hit with a bill for not just the x rays, but the cleaning as well. I truly believe they never accepted my insurance in the first place and wasted my time and took advantage of me being young.Unprofessional and conniving.

I have no much complaint with the doctor's work, no so much with the younger black receptionist. She was rude, be careful if you ask a question, she can cut your head off.

Not a good experience at all! I got an inlay done in October and have been in pain since. I wasn't impressed with the visit so I opted to go elsewhere to see why I am having pain. I called to get my medical records for my visit with the new dentist and was told it would be $25 for my office notes and an additional $25 if I wanted the x-ray that they took of my ONE tooth. Working in the health care field for 10 years I have never heard of charging a patient for their own records, let alone that a
