Dr. Latha Subramanian, DDS

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Latha Subramanian, DDS. (Of note, I left a 2 star review on demandforce that never showed up). I was suprised at my experience as I chose her based on her rave reviews on other sites. Dr. Latha is lacking in her bedside manner. I found her to be condescending to the point where I felt uncomfortable asking her any detailed questions about my dental health. Her assistant follows her lead on her bedside manner (you almost feel like they are talking about you behind your back). Her procedural skills are subpar. I found her procedures to be painful and lengthy with a longer recovery time compared to other dentists I had seen. Her office is on the older side and not as clean as you would like from a dentist office. It is also hard to get a hold of her as her assistant is working in the front and also busy assisting her with her dental procedures during the day. Additionally, she is significantly pricier compared to other dentists.

This Dentist experience was the most horrific dental experience of my life. My tooth is very sharp + rough, it is so sharp that it cuts all the floss I try to use. There is also a crevice between the cap and the remaining part of my tooth on the top part all around the cap where food is already being lodged. This makes an ideal place for a new cavity to start as now there is no enamel in the spot. I am also concerned for the possibility of infection. Tooth 20 should have just been a filling but 40-50% of my tooth was milled away to make room for the cap. Not sure why? I also indicated that I would only like to do tooth 20 and not tooth 19but yet both were done? (email dated March 20th 2:58pm). Can you elaborate on this. 7 numbing injections in 3.5 hr is that normal for a cavity filling?
