Pilon gave me several fillings that I didn’t need, shaved gaps several millimeters wide between my teeth and removed much of my enamel from health teeth. I had no pain in my teeth before visiting him, now I still can’t chew crunchy things on one side of my mouth. Stay away from him!

Never had a cavity in my life (before or after) except when seeing Dr. Pilon, who supposedly found several and charged a boatload for fillings. Duke grad students warn each other about him. Go elsewhere.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION! Dr. Pilon "found" 3 cavities on me, had them filled, and then warned me about 7 (SEVEN) more! Sure enough on the next visit, he wanted to fill them all. Being more skeptical on the second time, I had TWO independent dentists confirm I had ZERO cavities. When I asked Dr. Pilon about this he was defensive and continued to pressure me to fill the cavities.

Dr. Pilon is an overcautious cavity filler. My previous dentists (mere months prior) found nothing. He "found" seven cavities. He filled three before I wised up. I'm now dealing with daily teeth pain from bad work on those three fillings.
