Dr. Leslie Monroe, DDS

Poor communication with an adult. I’m an adult that flosses daily and she should know this but told the hygienist I may need to be educated on proper flossing. ( I was sitting right there. ) I understand every one has a bad day but this isn’t my first bad encounter with her.

I think Dr. Monroe is a very knowledgeable dentist and takes care of my entire family's teeth but none of us ever see her when we go in for check-ups. and cleaning I guess that means our teeth are fine. Hygentists are excellent!

I saw her once in place of my regular doctor who was out that day. She did my annual oral exam, after my routine cleaning. She comes across gruff and talking to me as if I were a young child. She seemed irritated and in a hurry. I have an excellent dental history, and am often told by other dental staff it’s very evident I take care of my teeth and gums between visits.I will insure in the future I will not have to see her again.

Dr. Leslie V. Monroe is lacking maintaining good communication with patients. On ethical level a healthcare provider shall not terminate service of patients on one side and rather reach an agreement together after offering referrals. Unfortunately Dr.Monroe did that. On professional level it’s common that patients ask for a second opinion which is the norm in all healthcare services which obviously Dr. Monroe didn’t accept it. In addition, the intake personnel is totally unprofessional dealing with patients. I’m making my judgement as a physician working in the healthcare system for more than 15 years. I’m giving my humble and honest review so maybe they will take it into consideration as that will affect their practice adversely.

Dr. Monroe is excellent! She communicates well and her entire staff follows every safety precaution.
