Dr. Loberg Leif, DDS

Wow! After having put my trust and a lot of money into local dentist only to have outcomes that are unheard of even with some of those who’ve had the worst dental experiences. I actually I thought there would be no way I would ever find an honest, kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and straightforward, dentist and staff. Well, I was wrong. Couple months ago I went to see Dr. Loberg for an emergency. of course worrying I’d probably be taken advantage again. But the complete opposite happened. His staff Kim,Perla and Claudia amazing and above excellent. and Dr. Loberg was beyond awesome in every way. Since I have brought my young son in with his father, who is very skeptical with any doctors, especially dentist after everything I’ve been through. They both absolutely loved Dr and staff. Unfortunately, not enough space to put all I’d like to. But I cannot praise them enough. They have gone out of their way to help. Doing so with such compassion, time and understanding. Highly recommend to all

I had a tooth extracted by Dr Loberg in my dentist’s office (Dr Preda, Aliso Viejo Dental) and it was the best extraction I’ve ever had. Dr Loberg was so gentle and it didn’t take but a few minutes.

The office is clean and staff are friendly but what I have experienced recently is very unpleasant and unreasonable. I had a question about previously treated teeth, so I called office but they asked me to make an appointment. I visited doctor and our conversation was less than 3 minutes and doctor spent another 4 minutes to check my records. No treatment. They charged me $178. It’s crazy, isn’t it? Their doctors and hygienists change frequently. I never see the same doctor or hygienist. I don’t recommend this doctor.

They add items or services to the bill that patient never asked for or even was never informed about in advance. To get the approval for the bill, they only show the totals of insurance and patient shares unless the patient becomes suspicious and insists to see details of the bill. I believe their attitude towards dentistry is to get as much money as possible from a patient. I don't recommend this dentistry to anyone at all.

They hire doctors to work for them and change them frequently. A patient, therefore, can never predict what quality of service he/she will receive. Almost every time, a new doctor worked on my teeth. Once, a doctor tried to fit a crown on an upper tooth for me. It was not properly made in the lab and therefore was stopping the tooth below it from full movement. Instead of sending it back to the lab for correction, to make work easier and faster, he started grinding the tip of my normal and healthy tooth below it, making it shorter, to fit the crown. I objected his action by saying that it does not make sense to damage a normal healthy tooth to fit a crown on another tooth. He replied: "Don't worry, I don't grind too much!!". I don't recommend this dentistry to anyone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Loberg and his incredible staff for going on seven years now and I can't say enough wonderful things about this office! Dr. Loberg is very kind and attentive and provides exceptional care for his patients. LemLem is a terrific hygienist! All of the dental assistants and office staff are friendly and very very knowledgeable and do all they can to make us patients comfortable. All around an excellent dental office that I highly recommend!
