Dr. Louis Defeo, DDS

I had a very difficult 5 years where I took care of my teeth almost not at all. By the end, I had NO front teeth...top 4 and bottom 4 missing. I went to Dr. Defeo and said 'please don't let my mother see me without teeth.' She never has and they are Beautiful!! Honestly, I'd have almost no teeth at all if not for the great work and brilliant bridge work he has done for me. I owe him too much to write here...how does one probably say thankk you for such a wonderful gift? No, it wasn't free. I had insurance and did pay some out of pocket...but NO OTHER DENTIST would even take me on! What a good and kind and decent man and GREAT dentist. Thank you Dr. Defeo.

I’ve been using Dr. DeFeo for years. I would not go anywhere else. He was referred to me by someone I know. And I love him and his staff. I’ve actually changed insurance, so that he was in my plan!!!

Worse service on SI. booked appointment three weeks ago, lady on front desk took ALL my info, assured me that my insurance plan is OK and today, after ONE HOUR of waiting in the office, she told me that they not accept this plan.

Please do not use this dental office! Everyone was nice and cordial enough but did not listen to my concerns. I tried telling them I was still having pain and maybe the root canal was incomplete and they told me some silly stuff about having a hairline fracture in the root that isn't even visible by X-ray. Come to find out two years later, the pain became excruciating and I needed a retreatment. I went to an endodontist who told me they missed a canal and put very little filling in. Malpractice!

He does not fill cavities. He waits until your cavity is bad so he can put a crown on it
