Dr. Maeve Luken, DMD

While I liked my experience with the actual dentist, I was there for almost 2 hours ( a LOT of waiting) and was not able to get a cleaning - was told I would get what they wanted me to or they wouldn't treat me. I also feel the tech does not change gloves often enough, kept leaving the room and doing who knows what, and came back w/same gloves and reviewing my teeth with them. I do not feel as though they listened to my concerns about deep cleaning nor did they explain all the items they placed on the paper of 'items needed' when I left. Still waiting on my insurance and unable to make any appts. until I receive.

I went as a new patient for routine cleaning/x-rays and had a great experience at Dr. Luken's office! Her and her staff are friendly, communicative, and transparent. Not only did I feel that I received a thorough evaluation, but the most memorable part for me was the patient education about my own oral health. It wasn't the generic "keep brushing and flossing" that I typically get when I visit a dentist's office, it was very personalized based on the anatomy of my teeth (I learned new things). I felt valued as a patient and recommend her office to anyone!
