Dr. Maria Ferrer-Nichols, DDS

Dr. Nichols has treated my 90 year old mother (w/crowns), myself, and several friends that I have referred through the years and everyone loves their experience and dental work from Dr. Nichols. She has great training (started with the US Armed forces) and she also speaks Spanish-- which was great for my mother who was relaxed any time she had to go to get dental work as she felt understood:) I just made an appointment to fix two 35 year old broken fillings, but no fear, as I trust Dr. Nichols professional dental work and pleasant manner!

I have been a patient of Dr. Nichols long enough for her to create and place for me a bridge with two crowns, and two other very necessary and very beautiful crowns. I have been pleased with her recommendation of an excellent root canal specialist, as well. I believe she and her associates are 100 percent top notch—and she has a lovely sense of humor. Just a gentle, gracious human being.

I have been seeing Dr.Nichols for over 20 years and just love her. She is very skilled an cautiously conservative. I have required a lot of dental work in my life being born with genetically soft teeth and she has worked very hard to save as much natural tooth as possible. She had some office staff turnover a few years ago and the new team were a little bumpy getting up-and-going, but things seemed to have smoothed out now. (The great thing about Dr.Nichols is that she will jump in and do that admin work herself if necessary to keep things moving.)

Dr. Nichols herself was a very good dentist, skilled at job and adequate with patient bedside manner. I am actually sad since although she is one of the better dentists, I will not go back as it was a nightmare working with her office staff who do not seem to understand how insurance works. I had to do all the leg work (scanning physical x-rays, etc) over a 1.5 years to get insurance to pay, then office just billed me for ineligible write-off amount and could not explain why they were charging.
