Dr. Marisol Vargas, DDS

-I used their website form to book an appointment. I didn't get a reply for over a week, so I had to call twice during business hours for them to pick up and book.-I never received an appointment reminder, so I called back to confirm the time.-I show up for my appointment 10 minutes early and waited another 40 minutes after the appointment time to be seen.-The office is not kept up (dusty, scuffs everywhere, etc). The rooms do not have full walls and are all open so you hear everyone's business and they can hear yours.-Xrays are done in the hallway. Odd since I have always seen the tech step away to protect themselves. Awkward as a patient as well.-Before they do the cleaning, Dr Vargas comes and points out every little thing you could fix with your teeth without any conversation or inquiry into your history.-The billing person then comes to you with the bill. I went to Dr Vargas for the first time for a routine cleaning/X-rays. She told me I had stage 3 gum disease, needed 2 root canals, 4 fillings and 5 crowns. I was stunned as I had just been to the dentist (different dentist) a year and a half before. I got a shady impression of the place so I got a second opinion a week later. Turns out, my gums are great and I only need 1 filling. She's a scam trying to get your money. There are tons of dentists in dallas- go somewhere else
