Dr. Marites Sotto, DDS

This woman does such terrible work. Has the worst patient care. She will gaslight you into thinking that the pain you feel from HER work is all in your head. She did four fillings for me, all of them made my bite off which in turn made my mouth uncomfortable. One of them had a little over hang and when I asked her to fix it she said “I don’t know who did that but that wasn’t me” mind you I hadn’t seen a dentist in two years so she’s the only one who touched my teeth. the other three I ended up going to another dentist to have fixed because she refused to believe her work was bad. One of them cracked not even 6 months later. I would run and I would run the other way FAST if you’re thinking of coming to this dentist. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

I strongly advise not to go to this dentist. Her staff is friendly and very nice, but the level of ineptitude by Dr Sotto is inexcusable! I saw Dr Marites Sotto Jan 2019 for cold/hot sensitivity in one molar. 1st exam/cleaning she advised I should have all older fillings (metal) replaced with composite fillings, one quadrant at a time. 2nd visit, still in pain, she did the next fillings and adjusted the 1st area. 3rd visit, still have pain now in area 1 & 2, she said it takes a few weeks to heal, more fillings removed/replaced. 4th visit, end of Feb, no fillings, just adjustments because I still couldn't bite without severe pain. By April I found a new dentist, the pain was unbearable, I could only eat soft foods, and one of my teeth was turning gray. New x-rays showed in multiple fillings there was cavity left behind which became infected. The worst was removed, treated with antiseptic & antibiotics & root canal. She adjusted bite so I could eat. 1 year later still not all corrected.
