Honest Great Dentist Not a rip off
I needed a lot of work Extractions root canal fillings and lower dentures In no more than four visits all was done Dentures are great without glue and the price was great. I could not believe my cost compared to other Dentist I checked in the area. People like me are going to miss DR Johnson when he retires.

A terrible dentist and worse human being
I have been seen several times by him in the last two months. He told me I had to have all my upper teeth removed and dentures put in. decided I didn’t want that and he told me I was his worst nightmare. He was also terrible to my wife and said she was responsible for her rotten lower teeth and they would fall out because they were only held in by debris and food from not taking care of them. No wonder people don’t want to see a dentist. What gives him the bright to talk to honest hard-working people like this

Worst experience of my long life
Terrible. He treated me like a dumb woman and insulted me right and left saying it’s my own fault that my teeth are in bad condition. In my long life I’ve never been treated so badly by any healthcare professional. I left in tears.

Staff is excellent!!
Front desk lady is awesome. She explained benefits and was patient even after several rude patients that yelled at her for not having their insurance cards! (like she knows everyone's provider!!) she is a saint !! I don't know how she does this job! Dr. Johnson is very luck to have her!!

If I could give a negative 10, I would do so. Whomever the woman is that answers the phone is the rudest, most condescending, unprofessional "person" I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My mother who is 86 years old and in so much pain she wants us to pull her tooth out and unfortunately this is the dental office her insurance is instructing her to use. She asked for an emergency visit and this nasty, uncaring, uncompassionate, rude receptionist said she would have to wait for a full month before she can be seen. Not only did she hang up on my mother and me three times when I asked to speak to Dr. Johnson, when I said I was going to file a complaint with the state and with the insurance company. This woman had the audacity to call me honey! As I said, unprofessional and condescending. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SUBJECTED TO THIS NASTY UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON. IF SHE REFLECTS/REPRESENTS THE TYPE OF DENTIST DR. MARK JOHNSON IS...RUN DON'T WALK TO ANY OTHER DENTIST AVAILABLE.

He is the best around
I’ve been going to him for years people commenting on how old his office and equipment is, I know he does an amazing job even without all the high-tech stuff that other dentists have and who do you think is paying for that? He does quality work a great personality and his office staff is amazing. I will continue to go to him and I refer people all the time. Everyone I referred has been very happy with him as well…there’s a reason he’s had the same hygienist and staff for yrs…he’s a quality dentist…

Refuse typical routine cleaning
Referred by dentaquest as there aren't any offices in my town accepting new patients right now. Drove 20 miles for them to bombard me with negative radiation waves for X-rays and bill for an exam and visit only to refuse to give me a cleaning saying my teeth are fine, but to come back in six months. I haven't had a dental cleaning in two years. I called the office two days later to ask if they were going to give me a cleaning in the upcoming 6-month appointment and the receptionist would not answer or ask the doctor on my behalf, but said she had to schedule me an appointment (in which they could bill for mind you) in order for me to ASK the doctor that question. I completed their feedback survey and explained all this and then got a quick email back from the nasty receptionist, Juli Lank, stating that she is sorry they didn't find a need for me to have painful costly treatment and to seek a new provider who will give me more attention, since I apparently need coddling????....I respond

I read a few bad reviews beforehand so I went in apprehensive to be honest. I was close to tears from fear because he was removing my left side UPPER AND LOWER teeth to prepare for dentures. His office personnel was absolutely terrific and so friendly that I started to relax, mostly due to his dental hygienist! Dr. Johnson came in and began and other than the local anesthesia shots (which were equivalent painwise to having an IV placed) I had no pain. He and his hygienist had me giggling with their cute conversation back and forth! He was finished so quickly I was actually surprised. It's been 4 days now and I haven't had ANY issues... At all! My stitches are coming out so I assume that I won't be having any...which is fine by me ?? I can HIGHLY recommend this office and this dentist!!! Dr Johnson, if you're reading this, I'm am SOOO grateful!!! I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and making an emotionally hard time of my life...losing my teeth due to Gastroparesis.

I've been going to them for 5 years! I love the staff they are awesome. Dr Johnson Is amazing. I'm always laughing when I go in. Pulling teeth? No problem.they are always asking if your ok and while your waiting there is a t.v in your room the entire time so if you dont like to hear the tools you can listen to the t.v. hands down the best!

I came in needing seven teeth extracted. Clean office, happy staff. I was very numb, felt only pressure. He worked HARD on my teeth. I have long roots and dense bone. He did not give me narcotics and I am grateful for that, as there was no need for them. Motrin worked great, I have my beautiful smile back and couldn't be happier. He was very knowledgeable, caring, and knows a lot about Indiana. Lol. I had a great visit.

First I want to say do not go by bad reviews!! I was able to obtain a emergency appointment within 2 days by my choice. If not it would of been 1 day. I had 2 teeth removed in about 5 minutes!! I did not feel a thing!! I was amazed how fast everything transpired. Upon arrival my wait time was no more then 10 minutes! I went home with no script for pain. 3 days later I felt minimal pain took Excedrin extra strength and that's all I needed! This Dentist is great and fast. Will be going back soon for all my dental work. I highly recommend him. Best dentist I have been to ever!! Hands down!!

I've seen Dr. Johnson since 2004 and he's the greatest most competent man for the job. I have recommended him and his staff for 15 years and will continue to do so. I just wish he was open on Fridays...that would help out with my work schedule. Thank you, Dr. Johnson!!!

Dr. Johnson is not only the best and most professional dentist I have ever been to (I'm 70). He is a warm and caring person with a gentle hand and soothing manner that always puts me at ease. As well, his staff is super professional, caring, and attentive. My standard of care has always been 'par excellence.'

This dentist was the most unpleasant I've ever visited. His staff was welcoming and wonderful, however, he was bitter and angry at "welfare scum looters" that were shown on the news station he had set the tv on, and I honestly believe he took it out on my teeth! He told me I was lying about my pain! And ignored my cries to pause for a moment. I can honestly tell you right now, after my simple filing, I HAD PAIN FOR 6 MONTHS! I COULDN'T BITE COMPLETELY DOWN! I was scared he may have ruined my jaw

Took my 17 yr old daughter there to have her first tooth pulled.she was scared and nervouse. He gave her the numbing shots which didnt work.she was crying because she felt everything. The assistant didnt do anything to comfort her and the dentist threw his tools down and took his gloves off and threw them. right in the middle of pulling her tooth he broke pieces off and all then told us he is not finishing it and to go somewhere else because she was crying,in pain and scared to death.STAY AWAY!!
