Dr. Matthew Abramson, DDS

I was referred to PerioPartner by B dental. I came to my appointment with an interpreter for a cleaning that could not be done at B-dental for whatever reason, I brought my insurance card and referral with me. I gave my card to the receptionist, both my interpreter and I verified with her that my insurance is accepted, I was worried about additional charges and coverage, but she told me that they work with this insurance and there might be a small charge of $37 in case my insurance doesn’t cover something. After I was certain that I have coverage I signed the paperwork. I was waiting for the doctor and by the time I was invited into the chair my interpreter had to leave. I came to get the treatment I needed, instead I was given a 15-minute evaluation, the doctor made some measurements and his assistant typed this on the computer, then I had to wait again for some paperwork. I spent approximately one hour in the office but most of the time I was either waiting for the doctor or waiting

Even though I have cleanings every 3 months, floss twice a day, and use proxy brush morning and night, and after each meal, I still have periodontal disease. Dr. Abramson did gum flap surgery on two areas. He may be technically proficient, but he has the most abrasive manner of any dental professional that I've ever visited. His office hygienist is wonderful, and so understanding of the work that I do to try to minimize problems, but not Dr. Abramson. I will not visit his office again.

Dr. Abramson is amazing. He is an expert clinician--efficient, knowledgeable and "up-to-date" with research. He is also patient and explains everything before and during the procedure. He is calm and confident, which helps to relax anxious patients (like me). Also, EVERYONE in his office is respectful, pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. This is the third time I have gone to him for a dental implant.
