The office staff was efficient. Dr. Lloyd showed me the problem tooth. Local anesthesia was more than adequate. The instruments felt light. The procedure was completed with precision and efficiency.

I have an intense fear of dentists and dental work. I have spent the last 22 years doing all I can to AVOID needing dental work. I brush 3 times a day, floss 2 times a day and have not had as much as a cavity since before 2002. Then at my last cleaning I was told that I have an infection over one of my upper molars which was crowned in 1999. I wanted full anesthesia to get the root canal done (which is an option), but it didn't work out (insurance would not cover it). So I had to be a big girl and get this done with just Nitrous Oxide.Dr Lloyd was AMAZING. I felt nothing!!! Not even the dreaded Lidocaine shot. I felt nothing, heard nothing (headset and music), and saw nothing (sunglasses). Which is exactly how I wanted it. He was patient with me, answered all my questions. He was very calm/calming. His staff is amazing and also answered all my questions. Kelly (front desk) rocks! HIGHLY recommend Dr Lloyd!!!

I spent several weeks trying to get into other dentists and specialists, finally one suggested Dr Lloyd. What a huge blessing to be reffered to this practice. I was given an appointment the next day. No waiting when I showed up next day and with in 90 minutes of arrival it was determined old root canal was not thouroughly completed and had to be redone, and was resolved same day. First time in 46 years I've had an issue fixed where I was fully numbed and didn't feel anything. Great experiences with Dr Lloyd, Technicians, and Staff they all deserve my huge thanks!

Great experience. Dr. Lloyd was a Godsend for me. I originally visited one of those retail strip dentists because of a toothache that I could not put up with any longer. Tried to get in to see McKinney Endodontics but they were booked for a week, and I couldn't wait that long. Long story short, the retail strip dentist failed to diagnose that my tooth had infection and needed a root canal, and instead put a crown on my tooth, and left me with an infected tooth and a worse toothache for another week, along with swollen lymph nodes and the inability to open my mouth more than 25% of normal. I then again reached out to McKinney Edodontics and thank God they were able to get me in the next day. Dr. Lloyd diagnosed that my tooth was indeed infected, performed the needed root canal, and prescribed the medication I needed. Painful and costly lesson to never again neglect toothaches. Thank you Dr. Lloyd and team. You are blessing!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! After experiencing real PTSD from my last root canal, I was terrified to go back to a dentist. I suffered in pain and continuing decay for a long time because of that fear. I did my research and discovered this practice. Is it crazy to say my root canal was a good experience?? Dr. Lloyd is amazing! My root canal was pain free, including the novocaine shots I dreaded so much. He quickly and expertly completed the root canal. His kind, gentle demeanor definitely put me at ease. He was even apologetic at times that what he needed to do might cause discomfort. All staff I encountered during the process were very professional and friendly. If you have to have a root canal, this is the place to do it!

I have gone through so many dental procedures over the past 30 years. Dr. Lloyd is the most gentle and skillful doctor I have encountered. He did an apicoectomy for me. No pain at all throughout the whole procedure, not even when he did the numbing shot. He doesn't rush and did the procedure so well. It went so well that I don't need any pain relief medicine after the procedure even though he prescribed me one. He explained things clearly and have such a nice manners. His assistant and front desk ladies are all very nice. I highly recommended him if you need any endodontic work done.

I had a root canal performed by Dr. Lloyd. He was so friendly, made me feel comfortable, and just put me at ease as soon as I met him. He was very knowledgeable and so nice. The procedure took 30 minutes and it went so much better than I had anticipated. They had all my paperwork and payment information ready. 100% recommend him to all my friends/family.

I had a root canal for the first time. Dr. Lloyd was extremely pleasant, great bedside manner, easy to talk to and reassuring. He was very professional during the whole procedure and made me feel so comfortable? He is fast and I had no pain, even with the two numbing injections. I would definitely recommend this guy! He has a great sense of humor too! I will be back.

He was the best at what he did. It did not pain anything during the root canal procedure or after. It was a breeze. He was the sweetest doctor i have ever met. Hands down.

Was recommended to Dr. Lloyd and his Team by my primary Dentist. I needed a RC done for the first time. After hearing numerous horror stories about the procedure while growing up, I was apprehensive to say the least. Dr. Lloyd took the time to explain what he was about to do and why, (which I much appreciated), and was able to accomplish the task without issue. His Team was friendly, professional and did a great job of making me feel I was in good hands. Dr. Lloyd was honest, caring and truly concerned with my well-being. Was referred for a root canal and was scheduled 10 days out. The Sherman office was not labeled well from the outside, but inside was pleasant and efficient. Dr Lloyd did amazing with professionalism and confidence. The procedure took 80 minutes and was explained well. I have zero complaints and am so grateful to have it taken care of.

Dr. Matt Lloyd has been a true Godsend. I only wish I would have found him 14 years ago. His expertise along with him intently and actually listening to the patient’s symtons is above and beyond! So glad I “finally” found such a grrrreat Endodontist! He is definitely 5 stars! The BEST!
