The practice was bought out. My son had a routine cleaning. When he left, he was given a bill for $160.80. Never ever in over 10 yrs would we be billed for a cleaning outside of what the dental insurance paid. My coverage and company has not changed. Their prices have. They charged him $25 upcharge for fluoride varnish. It was never disclosed that it was an option or that is was an extra charge. They overbilled the max allowable insurance amount for full mouth debridement, which is a deep cleaning and the purpose of a dental cleaning, by overbilling $75.80. They overbilled routing prophylaxis cleaning by $60. And then they double billed topical application of fluoride varnish for another $25. This was deceptive in our opinions based on many years of past experience. And this dentist or any dentist in the office did not come to review the hygienist work or visit my son. They were trying to upsell electric flosser, specialized mouthwashes and toothbrushes, again without disclosing costs.

I was never notified the practice was being taken over by a new dentist. All new front office staff and they are rude. I have seen them treat an elderly man poorly and they have treated me poorly. They have attempted to overcharge me and have had to reschedule my appointment and made sure to let me know that the ineptness was on the part of an office staff who is no longer there. I have been three times now and there are different hygienists each time. When Dr. Megregian was there I had the same hygienist for 6 years. Had a temporary crown which broke apart in a day. They are unable to fit me in to fix even though this is an emergency of their own doing. Wasn’t even expecting to need a crown went in for a filling fix. Before he began drilling my tooth to the point of needing a crown, none or the treatment was discussed with me. Highly disappointed. Here it is a Saturday and I’m looking for emergency dentists to fix his mistake. Less than 1 star in my opinion.

I was so happy during my visit to Your Family Dental and having Dr. Bergquist because he was very kind and gentle. I highly recommend him for a dentist
