It was my first time at Advanced Family Dentistry, and I was very impressed by Dr D'Occhio and his Hygienist Emily. They were extremely thorough, professional and caring, and provided accurate and attentive dental services. The staff at front desk were kind and helpful. Overall, excellent! I recommend this practice.

I was charged for not going to an appointment after I told them that I was stuck in traffic. I called the office multiple times asking for assistance. Jean .. who works at the front dest told me that they are not going to remove the charge. Please keep in mind that I have been a patient of theirs for at least 6 years. She told me that the doctor does not have time to deal with my lousy bill, in her words … he was to busy to do that. She hanged the phone on me. I emailed y the dentist and I asked for my phone call to be returned. I never received a phone call or an email.

Hygienists are top rated, efficient, friendly and skilled. The whole office runs extremely well and I always leave feeling well taken care of.

Military family, just moved into our dream neighborhood of Old Lyme. Unfortunately to follow was a horrible horrendously upsetting experience with Dr. D’Occhio’s office. They lied to me about being in network with United Concordia many times. After 2 visits and outrageous bills, refused to send my fully paid for X-rays to my new in network dentist. Then less than 30 days of my second bill due date, they sent it to a debt collector. When we called to discuss with Dr. D’Occhio he would not return the call.

Perfectionist. Kind and caring. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended
