I use to love coming to this office and being a patient here. Over the last several years Dr Rothstein has become very money hungry. Everytime I go for a cleaning they’re constantly telling me I need antibiotic injections. If this was something that was necessary it would be covered under insurance which it isn’t. Not to mention I’ve been told to get fluoride treatments as an adult. More superfluous treatments that insurance will not pay for and is all cash for the office.

I saw him for about 20 yrs. He missed a root in a root canal - and had me suffering for years - 1st insisting I needed an apio - which I didn't, but I still got it done - then wanted to remove the tooth and do implant. I trusted him. After 4 yrs of torture I saw other dentists who easily saw the mangled root canal. When I told Rothstein, I thought he'd feel bad, care, maybe apologize or offer to pay for the new work that I needed to correct his - but he just stared at me blankly and then suggested I re-do crowns to improve my bite. He's changed a lot since I first met him. He was doing raffles and trying to get his patients to drum up business for him using incentives and discounts. I'd never seen such unethical, unprofessional behavior. Very strange. Be careful if you see him - he makes a good impression - but I'm convinced the money is the driving factor in his work.

Dr. Rothstein cares about his patients immensely. He is very generous to his patients, his staff- people in general. Dr. Rothstein is extremely talented and loves his profession- which is very rare these days. He is one of two dentists I completely trust.

I tried so hard NOT to write this review, having asked the office 5 times to have Dr. Rothstein call me, he still has not. To date, I’ve never met the man, yet I’ve been in his office 5 times for dental work. This is quite possibly the most dysfunctional dental office in the country. I can't even begin to describe my experience. BAD. After 5 office visits, the only thing which did occur was my tooth being extracted. That’s five days I took time off from work.. Be forewarned.

I went in for the cleaning. Hygenist was very rude. She insisted on taking full-mouth x-ray, although I said firmly that I just had it 6 months ago and insurance covers it once in 3 year period. I also said that she does not need it for routine cleaning. She replied in a nasty voice : "Or yeah, in what country it is not mandatory to have full mouth x-ray with cleaning ?" . I just stood up and left. I will not be harrased with rude office staff.
