Dr. Michael Villavecer, DDS

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a healthcare provider at this office, specifically with Dr. Michael Villavecer. I was pushed into getting a nightguard under the clear impression that it would be covered by my insurance—information that turned out to be completely false. Had I been told the truth upfront, I never would have agreed. The nightguard was not only expensive but also completely useless for my situation, as I don’t grind my teeth (in fact, I sleep with my mouth open). There was no proper assessment—just a recommendation that felt more like a sales tactic than medical advice.This wasn’t just my experience. A close friend of mine was also scammed here not long after. Dr. Villavecer convinced him to undergo a procedure to “smooth” one of his teeth. Not only did it cost him $250 out of pocket because they were out-of-network, but the tooth remains sensitive and impossible to floss properly to this day. The issue was never resolved.
