Dr. Monica Yu, DMD

What can be said about Dr. Yu? Not only does she have GREAT "chair side" manners, but she gives GREAT advice about how to address concerns in a non-accusative way !!! If that was not enough, she works WITH you when things don't go as planned !!! Dr. Yu IS THE BEST !!!

I came across Dr. Yu in an emergency situation where a crown broke and I was scheduled to travel within the week. Within a day, I had a new temporary crown, and impression for a replacement, and the rest followed through as expected. I decided to take a further leap, and move to their office. I was immediately impressed by their unassuming nature, while simultaneously using the latest technology in their work. Dr. Yu doesn't over sell or under sell, just states it like it is, and what she would do sitting in your shoes. If she can't do something, or wouldn't be pleased with the outcome, she calls it out right up front. I also want to note that I've had a few procedures that have significant discomfort during the healing process where prescribed pain meds are expected to be used. I've yet to take any medication beyond acetaminophen, inclusive of setting the implant seat in my gum bone. This speaks to the methods that Dr. Yu takes.

Done with my teeth cleaning. Jenny the dental hygienist did a good job, very gentle and a lot of patience when cleaning as some of my teeth are very sensitive. She makes sure I’m comfortable. Highly Recommended!

Dr. Yu is a top-notch dentist for certain, but perhaps more importantly - she’s a brilliant caregiver with a wonderful chair-side manner, the kind of charm that puts even the most timid-of-dental appointments at ease, real compassion, and - she owns her own practice and I think women who do that should be supported and celebrated.
