Dr. Najia Usman, DDS

My son needed to be seen due to chipping his front teeth. Dr. Usman suggested a dental procedure to push the root up and fill this portion though there was no damage seen on the x rays taken. She said it was a problem that my son could feel cold when she placed liquid nitrogen on his teeth. I felt rather rushed to make a decision. She wanted to complete the procedure right then. I would have been charged $1,600 on top of the $100 for the consultation already charged. We waited and went for a second opinion. The second opinion completely disagreed. They said it was a good thing that our son could feel cold and the nerves were still working and in tact. They also wondered why such an aggressive treatment would be given to an 8 year old. They want to keep the tooth as in tact as possible for as long as possible seeing as there is no damage to the root. This consultation was nothing out of pocket either. Overall I was SHOCKED at the differences.

Great experience for a last minute root canal!

While I have access to excellent resources locally, I continue to drive 70 miles to Dr. Usman, who has solved my difficult dental issues. She literally sleuths out the culprit. I trust her and her staff and would highly recommend Dr. Usman.
