Dr. Nathan Sommer, DDS

Painless facial injections. It made a big difference in my TMJ issues and migraines. I really appreciated the post op call and care I received. Dr. Sommer went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the final results. Will be going to him for maintenance and future care as well as referring friends and family.

I’ve had dental issues all my life so I don’t get excited about going to the dentist. However, Dr. Sommer put me at ease and asked good questions and listened to me patiently. He’s filled cavities and created and caps for me. He also saw something that was concerning on my upper pallet and suggested I see an ENT. I’m so glad I listened to him! He also answered my questions and explained things well, like a good teacher. His staff does a great job cleaning my teeth and are super friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Nathan Sommer as your next dentist!

Before I went to this practice, never had problems/rarely had a cavity. 1st visit there- he recommended Invisalign although my teeth are very straight ;2nd visit-root canal/crown- beginning of visit they told me it would be $800 more than what I signed for (they changed it back after I showed them that price statement I originally signed), 3rd visit- work done, hygenist looked on the computer and said I would have to pay out-of-pocket since my insurance was maxed out for the year. Last visit- went to get 2 cavities filled. They said it was actually 3 and could not find any treatment plan paperwork that I signed previously for this because it never was presented to me! Left before they did any work. My husband went for a cleaning last November and came home saying the dentist never examined his teeth.

Dr. Sommers seemed to be competent dentist, but apparently had little or no experience treating people with special circumstances or conditions that require departure form normal in any way. He steadfastly adheres to the text book practice procedures, with no appearance of comprehension or care for the patient's needs. Alternatively, his actions are explainable only by undue pressure from management to demand the highest cost, highest profit dental processes, or is obsessed with making himself stand out as the associations highest money producing dentist for personal gains or satisfactions ... again regardless of real patients practical needs. There is no compassion for the patient here, regardless of circumstances. Unless you have a limitless budget, infinite time, and don't care how complicated or convoluted a treatment procedure might be for you, I would advise avoiding Dr. Sommers as your dental provider.

I have had wonderful experiences with Dr Sommer. I never thought I'd say that about a dentist, however the professionalism paired with personality make Dr Sommer far and away the dentist to go see.
