I have seen 2 dentists and he found the canals and got rid of my infection.I found him excellent.

I was referred to Dr. Mastro, an endodontist, for a possible root canal. Even though they took an X-ray and saw terrible decay, Dr. Mastro started the root canal anyway and didn't finish it. The office claimed there were no appointments for the next three weeks. It turned out the tooth had so much decay it was not savable and I had terrible pain for several weeks. The tooth had to be extracted by my regular dentist who told me it was obvious the tooth was not saveable. Dr. Mastro managed to tell me during the visit: 'I need to make $70,000 this year to pay for my health insurance.

Dr. Masto is a great dentist. On my first visit he explained everything about the work he would have to do and even explained it to my son afterward. It took two visits with no pain during and after the root canal. He made sure I was numb enough for the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr.Mastro and his friendly and helpful staff.

An uncaring man w/ a big chip on his shoulder & a mean streak running down his back. RUN, do not walk, RUN & find a new health care provider who actually cares about your well-being, because HE certainly does not. This is an honest review from a sane, normal 55 year old father/businessman residing in Westchester 15 yrs. I want to know which dental student this man mugged and stole his diploma. He could not care less that I suffered in Level-10 excruciating tooth pain, made me wait over an hr. in his 90 degree searing heat office, after being welcomed by an unpleasant sour woman, only to tell me he had no time to see me despite my intense pain, although he "squeezed me in"(??!!) He could not help me, having "no time" , & then would NOT EVEN agree to call in pain medication even after my insurance co. had already approved it, saying " U know how many ppl a day tell me they are in pain ?" Do yourself a favor & find a DR that actually cares. There are many to choose from.

I like Dr Mastro because he explained things to me clearly. He decided not to redo my root canal and referred me for an implant. The doctor that I saw me for the implant told me the tooth was cracked and showed me the crack. Thank God he didn't do my root canal. Great doctor

He is the best. I trust him because he didn't jump to an immediate root canal.

Had my root canal in 1 visit. Staff was great. They take insurance which was great.

Dr Mastro is very friendly. During consultation, he explained things very clearly and thoroughly answered my questions. I immediately felt confident in him. At procedure, after applying local anesthesia to my gum,he stayed with me to explain what he would do and what happened afterwards.Very rare! He then meticulously worked on my tooth for 50 mins. I would like to see him for all my dental needs but unfortunately he only treats root canal. He is the best dentist I ever met. Thank you Dr Mastro!

Dr Mastro saw me on an emergency. He was very accommodative and very friendly. I felt that he was very informative and caring. He also took my insurance which was great since these procedures are so expensive. I was pleased with Dr Mastro.

Dr. Mastro is excellent - he's highly knowledgeable and he cares! The assistants are warm and friendly. The front desk people could use some people's skill training.

Dr Mastro saw me at the end of his day in New Rochelle office. My dentist started the root canal and couldn't finish it. He referred me to Dr Mastro. He found all my nerves in the tooth and completed the root canal. The process was painless.

I saw Dr Mastro today on an emergency visit. He was great. Totally recommend him.

Dr Mastro was more than good. His office was modern and clean. Painless as I read in most reviews. It cost me $200 or so and insurance covered the rest. He did everything under a microscope and took 2 visits. I also saw another doctor there in the past who did another root canal for me but he didn't take my insurance.

Dr. Nick Mastro makes Steve Martin in Little Shop of Horrors seem like Santa Claus. This Dr. is insensitive, cruel and verbally abusive and I would highly caution anyone against going to him.

He was mild mannered. Made me comfortable and held a conversation well. Painless and a professional.

Great root canal specialist. He has several locations. I saw him in Mt Kisco. He used nitrous oxide and it was great. Loved the office and staff.
