Dr. Nima Dayani, DDS

When my regular dentist told me I needed root canal and would have to see a specialist, I was not too pleased. But I was lucky in that the dentist sent me to Dr. Dayani who is a thoroughly competent and caring surgeon who happens to operate on teeth. With great patience he explained the procedure before he began and then made me feel totally at ease and thinking, happily, that he really knows what he is doing. Not only does he have great hands, he also has the best state-of-the-art equipment, looking through what appear to be binoculars rather than straight into my mouth, and holding a pin cushion in one hand that offers about a dozen fine needles to choose from for drilling. It was a five-star procedure that, as his office worked with my insurance, was also reasonably priced. Dr. Dayani is to be recommended very highly. Anita Verschoth, New York City.

Dr. Dayani made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat down. I felt like a priority for him and he seems to care a lot about his patients. He made sure to explain everything thoroughly after assessing me and provided me with multiple options as solutions, giving me his recommendation, but ultimately letting me make my own decision based on the information. This is my 3rd root canal with Dr. Dayani. After the first one, I couldn't wait to come back for my 2nd! He and his staff make a stressful, painful anxious episode into a pleasant one. Dr. Dayani has a very calm and deliberate demeanor. His staff are also just as gentle, soft spoken, polite and professional. I wish all healthcare providers have such bedside manners, clarity of instructions and conversations about what is happening, what to do, and why. Thorough, and minimal pain here.

Dr. Dayani and his staff are kind, thoughtful and give helpful explanations of work that needs to be done. He never put me in a position to make a "lesser of two evils" choice but clearly laid out ALL my options. Knowing that I had more than one good choice was empowering and injected confidence into an experience that is usually stressful, scary or painful. During the procedure, he and his staff listened to me and made sure I was comfortable. The best medical experience I've had. Go see him!

Dr. Dayani an de husband staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Dayani took time to explain the root canal procedure I needed and was very gentle and reassuring throughout the entire process. He injected humor and casual conversation to help put me at ease because I don't know anyone who's ever excited about getting dental work. I was very happy knowing that the pain I had been experiencing would soon be relieved.

My experience with Dr. Dayami and his staff was nothing short of incredible. The moment you walk into their tidy, beautiful lobby you will hear classical music and be greeted by a warm and friendly receptionist. Dr. Dayani prioritizes your comfort and is commited to making sure that you feel informed. I had a root canal done here and can say that it was literally painless, and made all the easier by Dr. Dayani's patience, encouragement, communication and expertice. I recommend this practice.

I was extremely fortunate to be able to see Dr. Dayani for an abscessed tooth and root canal. It was a Friday evening, and a three-hour procedure, and Dr. Dayani stayed till 7 p.m. to finish the job. The following week I saw him again for the follow-up, and it all went smoothly. His staff and manner are courteous and friendly, attentive and professional. I probably should have asked more questions in advance, but Dr. Dayani and his assistants did answer all my questions during the visit.
