Dr. Omar Porras, DMD

Dr. Porras was the best. I’m 78 years old and I was extremely nervous to have root canal at my age. He was very gentle, very reassuring and there was NO pain whatsoever. I would give him not 5 stars but 10. Best dentist ever. His assistant was excellent also. Real team work.

Dr. Porous was very friendly and made me feel at ease immediately. No issues during or after procedures (I had a few procedures) and found him to be very efficient! Nothing but good things to say ! Definitely highly recommend

My dentist recommended dr.porras after he could not find what was causing my toothache. The office took me the very next day even though it was an off day. dr.porras found the problem after doing a scan of the jaw. He did root canal and it was a no big deal. The whole staff was great and i felt very at ease.

I went to Dr. Porras for multiple root canal problems that persisted after work that was completed some years ago at other offices. He and his office personnel were extremely professional, courteous and attentive. He explained everything he was doing in detail and I felt very comfortable with the treatments. I never felt rushed - he took as much time as was necessary to complete the work. I would highly recommend Dr. Porras and the Allied Endodontics Office.

Dr. porras was one of my dental professors when I was a dental student at "Temple U" back in the late 90's. He literally inspired me to become a root canal specialist myself. His love of the field was contagious. I could have called any number of colleagues when I had a toothache a couple years ago but I chose Dr. Porras. I have now been to Dr. Porras 3 times. I WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The entire experience is excellent. It starts with making an appt. w/ Jessica who is professional, friendly and most importantly empathetic. Also they really are able to work around your schedule. Dr. Porras is amazing. He is gentle, skilled, professional, and at each experience has educated me on my issues and the planned interventions. All 3 root canals have been successful and I had minimal discomfort, which was expected.

Anyone would feel nervous going to a dentist in general and and endodontist in particular, either because of preconceived ideas or past uncomfortable experiences. I am glad to say that in my case it was different, Dr. Porras was amazing! He is the root canal magician! My root canal procedure was entirely painless. I didn?t even feel the anesthetic being administered. He is also the best at explaining to you the procedure before and during, and will answer any questions you may have after.
