Dr. Paresh Patel, DDS

My husband has been going to Dr Patel over a decade now. He recommended that I transfer my care too. We drive 90 minutes to go to this practice because of the quality care we receive by both Dr Patel and his staff.

Dr. Patel is discriminatory towards Medicaid patients. His filling work is ABYSMAL. Due to chronic illnesses and medications, my teeth aren't the best. I needed a couple of fillings and he reeeeaaally did a terrible job - - none were filed flush to the tooth surface, especially around the gum line. This created a place where you can't brush. Four of his fillings were not stable and have chipped where it wasn't filed correctly. The last time I went to see Dr. Patel (in his Lenoir office), I told him about the multiple places where he didn't file in certain places and thy filling was cutting my tongue and cheek. His solution was to file one entire tooth down (one that is very visible!) to a knub! And just left it. Said I'll need a crown and they'll call me...and never did. Either Dr. Patel is really bad with fillings and bedside manner...or he was discriminatory towards me and gave me junk care.
