Dr. Parvin Amouhashem, DDS

Dr. Parvin Amouhashem is very conscientious and does everything in her power to save my teeth, which are full of old fillings and very delicate. She always lets me know what is going on, explains her recommendations, and enables me to be part of the decision- making process. She is sensitive, gentle, and attentive, and stops at any indication of discomfort to do whatever is needed to keep me comfortable. She diligently watches for any new issues that may emerge so we can be proactive in addressing them, including taking of care of my dry mouth issue. And I’ve never experienced a long wait time - she usually greets me right away and walks me straight to the chair herself! I’m blessed to have found someone like her to take care of my low pain threshold and very challenging dental situation.

doctor Amouhashem was too rude and unwelcoming, she did NOT explain the situation and she was about to start the process of crowning the teeth without discussing the cost. i found out she was charging us $1300 while we were there only for a checkup and consultation. over all this doctor is never recommended for anyone. poor reception, poor service. Thanks

Dr. Parvin is such a wonderful and compassionate dentist. I no longer say "I HATE going to the dentist!". While I still get anxious, I know that once I'm in that chair, I'll be OK. She is extremely gentle, tells you exactly what she's going to do and makes sure that both you and she work proactively to protect teeth and gums from any unnecessary treatments. She'll make sure you're flossing and brushing with an electric toothbrush, but as long as you do your job, your visits will be a breeze.

These are the best dentists in the DMV!! I love them!! I have never had one iota of pain. My root canal took about an hour, I went back to work immediately after and had no pain or swelling at all. And Susie, the receptionist is an added bonus! She is always cheerful and friendly...in fact, you can hear her smiling at you through the phone. Awesomeness personified!
