I've had a particular tooth problem for about a year. This occurred after I was no longer covered by my wife's insurance and had to buy my own insurance through Delta as a military veteran. Anyway, I had seen another local dentist who found my problem but didn't accept the insurance I had. I contacted Dr. Portillo's office about 2 months later after a great deal of pain and they not only took me in, but fixed the problem that day and charged me a minimal fee as well as accepting my insurance. I don't know what to add other than these folks know how to treat people with an extraordinary kindness and care. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate what they did for me and how I actually look forward to contacting my dentist.
