Dr. Patti Froeber, DDS

Dr. Froeber and her practice is at best incompetent and at worst one big scam. I’m a student and wanted to establish care closer to my apartment. I was told my initial visit would be a consultation appointment where they checked my teeth to see if they needed extra work besides a cleaning. I thought this was odd as I’ve been religious about my dental care and have never had any issues. During my appointment, they told me I had gingivitis (gum disease) and needed a couple thousand dollars worth of painful cleaning procedures. I was devastated and so confused as I didn’t have any of the symptoms, the risk factors and my previous dentist never said this was an issue. I decided to get a second opinion before committing to the procedure. Fast forward to 3 dentists and 2 dental hygienists later who have all confirmed that I do NOT in fact have gum disease I have realized Dr. Froeber tried to scam me. I now have severe trust issues with dental cleanings. Pick a place that’s more trustworthy.

I have gone to Patti for all my dental needs for decades and have always had excellent, kind, caring, and attentive experiences. I am shocked at the reviews left here, as in all my years with her, I have ever ONLY had exceptional experiences. She and her staff are extremely knowledgeable, careful, and efficient.

Froeber is a high pressure sales dentist who is intent on selling you services you don’t need. She tried to get me to agree to have crowns put on most of my teeth. She managed to inadvertently break off one tooth at the gumline while removing a temporary cap. She cried when she realized what she had just done. This required me to have an implant done on the healthy tooth she broke. It was a horrific dental experience. Froeber’s dental practice is “the little shop of horrors”. Run away as quickly as you can.

I went to see Dr. Froeber for a routine cleaning where I found out I had a few cavaties. She took advantage of me as a college student and convinced me to get an unnecessary gum procedure which led to me having to pay more than $500 out of pocket after insurance. I highly recommend going elsewhere.
