Best at what he does.

I do not see my previous review, that I posted. So I am reposting it.I called trying to see Dr Langer on emergency, was told that no appointments are available, despite on website it says 'same day emergency appointments'. Apparently as I learned after calling three days in a row, that 'you have to call at 8am to see if we have anything available'. Well, I did not know that because no one bothered to say anything. Then I was told that for them 'emergency is when you are swollen, severe pain'. I did not know that I need to be swollen. In short, I never saw the Dr. I got the appt 10 days after I first called with severe pain, asking to be seen on same day as per their website.OM called me back and demanded that I remove the review that I placed here, BEFORE I come to see him. Also I got a voicemail telling me to remove the review before I see the Dr. I did not remove the review and actually found another endodontist. Dr Langer is great, but the office makes it impossible to see him.

Paul Langer is absolutely hands down the best dentist in the tri state for your root canal needs, this office has cutting edge technology. The staff is top notch and the office is spotless, his assistant Sam is great and always makes you feel comfortable and safe. All around excellent experience thank you to Platinum Endodontics for always taking great care of me and my family

DR LANGER IS LEGEND!!! My uncle is a dentist as well a couple of my clients. They do not do root canals. The thought of a root canal was scary thought. I have been to Dr Langer twice. As a Veteran and business own in NYC for 30 years I know what the best is in many fields. 'He is Legend!' Why? It was a detailed step by step process with such minimal pain and/or discomfort. It was so pleasurable to deal with him and his staff. I could go on and on about how amazing this doctor is as person and professional. I write reviews a lot and I tell the truth even if it isn't what people want to hear. I am blessed to have found this human being who is a master at this craft when I need 4 roots under my 1 tooth to be dealt with right away. Thank you Dr Langer and your spectacular staff!!!

My experience with Dr. Langer was exceptional from the ability to get an emergency appointment in one day to the end of my procedure. I can’t say enough about Ruth and the staff and how they truly care about their patients. Dr. Langer was available after hours for me and returned my call within minutes to answer my questions and discuss my symptoms after my procedure. I would certainly recommend Dr. Langer and his team to anyone looking for a caring and professional experience for their procedure.

had multiple visits with him and his father in the past, going through root canal therapies. I spent so much money with these 2 doctors and believed they are the best in the area. Several years later, I went to see another dentist and found out they left the tool under my tooth and it's broken in there. I didnt know until several years later when the problem arise again. They left it like that even though it shows under the x ray and they didn't even mention to me and assume nobody noticed and will cause no problem with me. I decided to do the bridge on that area and we have to extract that tooth. It didn't come out since it's fused with my jaw bone. This is horrible that the famous/well known doctor will do this kind of things. You can't trust him and his practice.

Dr. Paul Langer is the best! I was very anxious getting root canal procedure but his entire staff along with Dr. Langer put me at ease. His assistants Celeste and I believe Samantha were wonderful in calming me down. Even Ruth, assisted during my visit. She was such a lovely person. Dr. Langer explained everything he was doing along the way. The office is very up to date with their equipment and was very clean. Please don’t let anxiety keep you away from much needed procedure. They will keep you as comfortable as they can. I just referred a friend of mine who traveled over forty minutes to his office. She was unable to get an appointment near her until over 3 weeks and she had an infection. Dr. Langer’s office got her in the next day. Good luck!!!

I recently was given referral to Dr Langer for an experience i never had in my entire life - root canal! I was so anxious not knowing what to expect but Ruth explained fully what to expect and that i was in good hands. Moment of truth came when Dr Langer and his assistant came in the room. Again they explained everything and my questions were answered. Here comes the needle. Of course, it wasn’t pleasant but i tell you that once the process started, there wasn’t any pain at all! It was long 45 minutes. Of course tugging and various sounds but no pain. I opted to finish in one visit to get it over with and no plans to return. I am still pain free and now will follow up with my regular dentist. Thank you Dr Langer and staff. Amazing dental practice with expertise, gentleness and care. Would i recommend your services? 200%. Best experience, pain free visit ever to any specialist!

I just has a consulting visit with the doctor , they did all kinds of CT scan and X-rays and bellied me $800 for a consultation visit . With 2 different insurances , I still had to pay $200 from my pocket . I already knew that I needed a re-root canal as per my primary dentist , but they still all unnecessary stuff to squeeze very penny from my insurance. I didn't go back as I was scared they will rip me off again . Very dishonest staff and doctor. They will brag about their cool CT scan , but remember you have to pay for everything . My suggestion stay away from them .

I had a horrible experience at Dr. Langer's and would discourage anyone from going there. I was asked to sign all manner of paperwork attesting to things that were untrue and agreeing in advance of meeting him that he could provide emergency services and root canal treatment, among other things. Staff insisted he would not see me unless I signed, insisted that I was agreeing to a consultation, which was NOT what was written on the page. It was all heavy handed and just crazy. I walked out of my first appointment, but not before they demanded I pay $195 for the complete visit.

I thought staff and Dr. we’re nice at time of visit. Paid co-pay of $195 and. ow they are trying to stick me with $200 consulting fee. Not paying this and definitely never going back. It’s not nice to be dishonest with especially in time of pandemic. shameful!

I cant believe such a nice guy exists around a staff that's just as sweet. I was nervous when I was referred to Dr Langer for a bad infection that needed a root canal. The way he speaks to you before, during, and after your procedures told me he genuinely cared about my comfort level. I even got a tooth stress ball to squeeze if anything was painful. Spoiler alert: everything after the initial numbing injection was like nothing. He joked around saying "You can go to sleep if you want. I'd just take it as a compliment. " But honestly I probably could have fallen asleep. High recommendations!

Absolutely the best experience when having to have root canal the dr himself and nurse Samantha made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend this office

Dr Langer and his whole staff are fantastic. My experience was as pleasant as I imagine a root canal can be. Dr Langer and Samantha were lovely and accommodating during my entire procedure. He made sure that there was absolutely no pain. His confidence was also comforting during the procedure, you can tell that you’re in good hands.

I was very nervous going into Dr. Langer’s office for a root canal. He and his staff assured me that it would be a painless experience. I remained skeptical until I was pleasantly surprised and convinced at the end of the procedure that he was indeed the best in the business. I can’t stop telling my family and friends how wonderful he is.

By far the most thoughtful staff. I am a very anxious patient but here they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well informed about everything. They suggested listening to music and provided earbuds for it, they gave me a pillow and blanket and even put vaseline on my lips when they noticed they were dry. He did not start any work until he was completely sure I was numb and was very reassuring the whole time. Even the day after a root canal I felt minimal pain.
