Went for gum surgery and bone grafts. While I was doped up he made snide comments and joked with assistant during surgery, slipped with scalpel and nicked my tongue (joked about that too). Had to pay up front then chase them for the insurance reimbursement, eventually had to physically go to his office and demand a check and wait for it. Along with these treatments, he instructed my dentist to install a splint bonding my lower front teeth to address slight mobility, this made flossing impossible and likely exacerbated further bone loss which I continue to battle. Seeing a new perio soon...Zero follow up from his side to assess efficacy of these procedures. Found out later he was new to our town and left the area (Crystal Lake) soon after and seemed to have left the region or the practice for awhile. Grafts did not help, gum surgery left my teeth sensitive for months after. Seeing a GOOD hygenist, periostat treatments and following advice did more for me than these procedures.

Horrible!!! Stay away! I paid over $400.00 upfront and I never received my reimbursement check from Cigna. They sent it to the office and they never gave it to me! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! I have an ongoing investigation with them right now. They are not going to get away with this!

I came to see the doctor for deep cleaning but he did only dental exam and simple stain cleaning and charged $264. He refused to do the deep cleaning unless we agree to pay $1100 on top of what he charged $264.
