Dr. Paul Scott, DDS

DO NOT GO HERE if you value your time and money. Paul Scott wasted almost 2 hours of my day to tell me I didn't need a root canal for a tooth that's obviously in pain and has been referred for a root canal. He then used a drill to carve out what feels like half of the crown that was placed and told me to wait a week and someone would call to check in to see if that fixed the tooth pain. It did nothing (but he was happy to charge nearly 300 dollars to accomplish nothing) and after having to call in to try and schedule the root canal that should have been done from the beginning turns out his office is still open and accepting calls but hes on vacation for an entire month. You would think that a half competent doctor and staff would inform a patient who might need to schedule another appointment in less than a week. But clearly patient care and wellbeing will never be as important to Paul as making a quick buck and then leaving you with tooth pain for months at a time. Again if you want

Dr. Scott and his staff are unusually competent and caring. I found them to be extraordinarily knowledgeable, efficient and empathetic. They worked together seamlessly and were careful to explain what was happening at all times. I consider them to be unusually proficient professionals.

Provides consultation after business hours. Great communicator. Nice staff. Please atmosphere. Easy to find

I was visiting family in town - and needed emergency help. Dr. Scott and his staff did a great job which allowed me to travel back home pain free.

Dr. Scott has again successfully restored an aging root canal which was done in the 70's by Navy dentists. He and his staff are very professional, and the entire office is exceptionally clean. You will not find a better endodontist in Brevard County.

LOVED Dr. Scott and his office staff making me feel very comfortable for my FIRST root canal. Honestly I was scared but he explained everything to me and helped ease my nerves. Dr. Scott was very caring and gentle and honestly I did not feel any pain at all! They really know how to treat their patients and the whole office is very welcoming. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

After root canal done by Dr Scott, issues with the tooth continued. Repeatedly returned to the office with concerns and was told all was well and healing despite symptoms that something was not right. Office used only digital xrays to evaluate. Don't think the office has a dental CT machine. A large abscess was discovered months later by other medical professionals at root canal site. Dentist referred back to Dr Scott for treatment. Dr Scott stated the "cyst" was not urgent and could wait for over 2 weeks for his next available appointment. Oral surgeon performed urgent extraction due to abscess and significant infection due to delay in care. Any Dentist who tells you an abscess can wait needs their license revoked. Would not recommend going here.

I was referred to Dr Paul Scott for a root canal, Nov2021. I was in pain and dreading having more work done on the tooth. Dr Scott provided me wonderful results. He did not hurt me during the procedure or let me hurt. He listens to concerns, worries, and attends to them professionally. He is excellent. Staff is great too. I feel so lucky to have been referred to him. His professionalism and talent is a great discovery in Melbourne FL.

Retreated a very old root canal successfully and one appointment. Way better than extraction/ implant option presented by others. All professional staff.

I left feeling like he deserved the biggest HUG ever. Thank you so much Dr. Scott. And thank you to the receptionist; she was able to fit me in their busy schedule with very short notice. She too was very courteous and caring over the phone and in person too thank you.Dr. Scott's office is in a beautiful house, what a cozy, home-like feeling. And his prices are much cheaper than two other Endodontists in the area (he is very honest does not overcharge). I know firsthand. Trust me.

Dr. Scott has done 3 root canals for me, and is wonderful. His staff has always been accommodating and more than helpful.

Dr. Scott is a wonderful endodontist but I won’t go there anymore. My appt. was cancelled because I couldn’t answer the phone the only time the receptionist called to confirm and was told I couldn’t keep the appt. after calling them back a few hours later because I am a “new patient.” I’m not a new patient though I have seen Dr. Scott twice, once was even for the same tooth my recent appointment was for. You should not have to visit often to not be considered a new patient. Bad customer service.

Everyone in his office is so warm and welcoming and Dr. Scott really is excellent. He was able to fix my tooth and saved it from being extracted by completing a root canal that another Dr said wasn't able to fix it. He is excellent and I would refer him and his entire staff to anyone. They even have headphones so I could listen and relax to music while having my procedure completed. Lovely office too!!!

Dr. Scott and his staff are wonderful! I would rather give birth then have a root canal done. But it was completely painless. I will recomend him to everyone. Thank you so much for the painless procedure. Laurie Brown

This was my first visit. The staff were nice and Dr Scott makes you feel very comfortable. He explained everything and didn't tell me I needed a root canal when I probably don't. The only negative was that I had to wait 45 minutes before I saw him and was at the office for much longer than I had anticipated.
